Moose Jaw if you book now. Nearly every hotel room at any reputable hotel is booked before tickets even go on sale. There are some seedy hotels after but unless you like head lice, bed bugs, and tuberculosis you should just book out of town and prepare to walk because transit is completely non existent. Regina is a complete fiasco from a travelling fan's perspective and the CFL doesn't know any better because they have blocked off rooms for their needs and those of the broadcast/media well in advance and that pretty much covers Regina's rooms capacity.

My only Grey Cup there I thought I had lucked out through a bus tour out of Winnipeg that came with a room. Little did I know I was expected to share the room with two other strangers. Just awful.

For real?? Wtf...creepy

Jam packed as usual lol

I thought Edmonton was getting the next one... They were passed over in favour of Calgary next year. I'm wondering if there's issues there after the owner died. Must be an absolute mess out east if nobody is getting one/bidding on one...

Has this years Grey Cup sold out yet?

No clue?...Generally they don't until the teams involved are decided and tickets will be expressly held for that very purpose. 14 straight sell-outs here are a pretty good ondicator it will be if not already is with "available" tickets for the public

Call the Club if you are curious

I wish I was lying about the hotel situation. We got there only to find a third of the rooms for the amount of people.

More than half the cities are struggling with attendance...where else is the league supposed to go?

it’s basically to a point where 80% of gc games need to be played in one of 3 places.

While thats true, not a ton of cities make much off the game. A place like calgary or edmonton would very likely lose money to have a 20-25k ish attendance.
Half the fields in the league this year aren’t high enough quality either imo.

The reality is there’s only 3 nice stadiums in the league. Regina. Winnipeg. BC. Any of those are the only real options really.

I'd have kept my luggage wit me & slept with one eye open on a couch in the lobby.

I'd put Edmonton in that group. The stadium is old but it's still good enough to host a Grey Cup. The problem are the Eastern stadiums. They're too small. It's hard to believe that a city like Hamilton (with all their history & tradition) only has a stadium that holds 24000. Ottawa 22000, Montreal 23000 & then there's *^%$#> Toronto.
