As messed up as it is, I don’t want the elk to win. If we clinch with two games and a bye im worried we will lift off the gas too hard. I want atleast one more game with meaning.

I’ve always said at least temper it with a broadcasting partner who blatantly cheers for the other team. That at least would be entertaining than listening to a broadcasting homer cheer with no pushback.

Straight fire needs to be doused or at least recalibrated with less cringy yelling.

That stuff works great on regional broadcasts. Like in baseball. But on nationally televised games on a national station it’s gotta be treated with more professionalism. 
 That’s the biggest knock I have on tsn. The whole thing smacks of a regional broadcast of bush league crap where having fun is more important than doing the job. 
 

That’s part of the brilliance of bob irving. Even as a long term bomber broad caster, he was never badly bent. He called a spade a spade if the team was good or bad and was never a fan boy. 

Who cares if the Riders are stopping the run? It just means it opens up the passing game for the Elks.

Be nice if TSN showed a few more replays but the one I saw looked like the ball hit the turf but you know TSN doesn’t believe in showing replays on important calls.

Those are two routes very close to each other.
