I don't see much in this team's recent performances that suggest that they're ready for a prolonged fight.

It's really just Nashville that can push a wild card team out.

I think one of our big problems is that lack of toughness in our lineup. It has been a problem since we lost Buff, Myers, Trouba. We have Lowry and Dillion and Lowry ain't nasty but will fight. Not sure why Chevy has not addressed this, even the Oliers added toughness. The Wild are gonna try to run us. 😕😞

Just to stir it up a bit knowing I ain't part of the locker room and what the team dynamics are but in addition to toughness maybe a lack of caring one way or the other?

Like how bad does this team want it and/or think they are capable of keeping up with the big dogs?

And if they do, expect a banner to be hoisted to the rafters.

Myers toughness=crosscheck penalty :D

Going to be a tough game. Gotta admit, I'm nervous ...

May be an image of text that says 'cOm FANS WINNIPEG ETS WINNIPED Wednesday Mar. 8 om/fanso Jets Lineup Ûw. vs. Connor-Scheifele-Niederreiter Ehlers-Namestnikov-Wheeler Barron-Lowry-Appleton Gustafsson-Stenlund-Maenalanen Morrissey-Pionk Dillon-DeMelo Stanley-Schmidt Hellebuyck Starter Rittich Scratches: Samberg, Capobianco, Kuhlman, Jonsson- Fjällby, Gagner Injured: Perfetti, Dubois Note: Lineup information is derived from a number of media sources and the Jets.'

Marcus Foligno is a sniper now? 3 bloody shots on net against and down 1.

Don’t really agree that the Jets lack toughness.  Do we have the old school cement heads?  No.  Do we have a bonafide fighter?  No.  But we have some guys that can play a tough, gritty style of game.  Lowry and Dillon were mentioned, but there’s also Stanley and Dubois…. And Nino is a willing hitter.

The Jets have problems, but I wouldn’t put toughness near the top of the list.

Looks like Fleury is playing the same way he did when we played Vegas in the WCF.

Wow Hellebuyck... What a terrible goal.to give up.  3 goals on 9 shots.

This is ridiculous.

Are the Jets cursed?

Only halfway joking.

That Hellebuyck gaffe was a momentum killer.  This team is done.  We're not making the playoffs and zero reason to believe otherwise.

Such a disappointment after that tremendous start.   Not sure what the hell is going on.

Gustafsson is having a real nice game.  Would like to see him rewarded.

Next four games are Florida Tampa Bay Carolina and then Boston.  Don't see an end to this losing streak

Maybe losing Hellebuyck to UFA might not be as bad as people are predicting?

I think Helle is burnt out.

Probably, but it’s not like he hasn’t been used to this much playing time in the last 3 or 4 years …

I will qualify toughness with size on the backend( Stanley is a defensive minefield) but we definitely lack the nastiness factor we used to have with Buff, Trouba, forgot about Chariot too...and Myers too. Dubois is more an agitator imo.

It's hard when you can never give up a bad goal - when was the last time the team bailed him out?
