I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested.

• He campaigned on the idea that government is bad and doesn't serve the people's interest.
• He repealed the Mental Systems Act which lead to the homelessness or incarceration of thousands of the mentally ill.
• His administration was statistically the most corrupt ever.  138 members of his team were investigated, indicted or convicted for their roles in various scandals.
• He deregulated the Savings & Loan industry which would lead to the subsequest Savings & Loan crisis.
• Was basically the initial funder of Al Qaeda when he funded Afghans opposed to Russia because he hated communism that much.
• Reagan was an FBI snitch during the McCarthy years.
• He created the Office of Public Diplomacy which manipulated media with White Propoganda.  Please do your own research on this - terrifying.
• His administration used EPA Superfunds to influence elections.
• As mentioned, Iran-Contra.
• He vetoed sanctions against Apartheid South Africa.

We already have a confused one that personifies a lot about the state of affairs in the affairs of the States, so I like your idea better.

Coronavirus: What's happening around the world on Wednesday

Mexico posts another record 1-day increase in confirmed cases

New cases of the coronavirus in the United States have surged to the highest level in two months.

While early hot spots like New York and New Jersey have seen cases steadily decrease, the virus has been hitting the south and west. Several states on Tuesday set single-day records, including Arizona, California, Mississippi, Nevada and Texas.

According to the U.S-based university, (John Hopkins) the U.S. was trailed by:

- Brazil, at more than 1.1 million reported cases, with more than 52,000 reported deaths.
- Russia, at more than 606,000 reported cases, with more than 8,503 reported deaths.
- India, at more than 456,000 reported cases, with nearly 15,000 reported deaths.
 

Russia, which has faced questions about how it is tracking and reporting on COVID-19 cases, on Wednesday reported 7,176 new cases of the novel coronavirus, pushing its nationwide case total to 606,881, the world's third-highest tally.

And the Trump admisitration has started to halt funding for Covid testing. Nothing short of insane and sociopathic.

They many stopped reporting the cases but the people will keep dying and somebody will eventually have to answer for that.

Fake news, deep state, masks are killing people, infringement on my freedoms, Covid hoax, all lives matter, my God is under attack, arrest Obama and Bil Gates, George Soros is trying to control us, Biden’s a pedo living in his basement etc etc etc.

That’s what 36% of Americans hear in their heads blustering it out loud when they ‘read’ information like this and do their ‘critical thinking’.
