This game stinks of recent Blue Jays teams.... more or less exactly how I expected things to go.   .......so far.

TB Rays were untouchable for the first 3 or so months, today they are looking at next year

Jays aren't gonna win scoring zero runs

They scored like 1 run in 2 games. I doubt it 

The hitting was atrocious but Schneider was already on thin ice. He'll be gone. But my bigger question is with the front office. There's a lot of problems with management.

Either Schneider needs to grow a pair or him and the front office all need to go.  Pulling Berrios was madness at that point in time.

Oh well, just freed up hours of my time for the next few weeks.

Team couldn't clutch hit all year. Just terrible. Blame the manager but the players should wear this. 

 

Time to trade Vladdy. You need a left-fielder and someone who can play 3rd. Need a new DH, someone who can hit reliably.

Kinda sounds like our team, Blue Jays always get set up to fail by the media in Toronto, they backed into the playoffs and a 2 game sweep showed they were never contenders.

Vladdy is way too young to give up on, but he does need to take his game more seriously. 

If the Jays can resign Kiermaier, they are set in the outfield.  Varsho plays the game the right way and will only get better.  Springer is under contract through 2026, I think.

No argument about DH, even though I find Belt hilarious.

Vladdy is at a point where he wants too much for what he delivers. If they can't extend him long-term this offseason, they never will. 

Kiermaier is not coming back. The plan has always been to move Varsho to centre. 

Springer is getting too old to be your everyday right-fielder, but he can still hold it down next year. 

You need a left-fielder and they'll promote a kid from AAA to play third, but you can't trust them to play everyday. 

Braves and Dodgers both out now if the Rangers could take out the Astros the World Series might be interesting.

The MLB regular season used to be the only one that mattered of the big 4 in sports. Now it’s just another pointless slog to make money. The top 5 teams in the regular season all got bounced in the playoffs, with a combined record of 1-13. And 3 of the 4 teams who earned the first round bye lost out as well.

I don't think anyone had the Diamondbacks going to the World Series, I don't see big ratings with the upcoming series with the Rangers

Had PHI and HOU in the finals so of course the reality is AZ and TEX

 

 

Many said this World Series was going to suck and it didn't disappoint, Diamondbacks have the makings of a good to great team but they were way over matched this time around

The annual global cereal eating competition...has concluded.

So apparently the fish bowl is getting a new name unless they're adding "powered by Rogers" to the park name I'll miss calling it Shaw Park

 

It's more of a new naming rights partnership (Little Brown Jug park?)
