Leo's @ Bombers: Nail In Buono's Coffin Edition

Well, since BC didn't help us out against Edmonton last week, it's time for us to help ourselves out and drive home the final win needed to bring home a WSF home appearance.

If we get up on them by 2 scores early, I say they're done.  While it's already a given no playoffs in BC, win this one and Buono's coffin gets the last nail driven in it.  Good thing Dressler will be here taking those defenders off of Harris this time.

  • I'll be sad to see Wally go. He's like Don Matthews, a CFL legend, and he kept half the league supplied with quarterbacks during the late nineties / early oughts.  20 playoff years in 22 years plus mo

  • I personally blame Fogg, Walker and Loffler for not scoring on their plays and leaving it up to the offence.

Wally spoke with Bob on the Pre-game show a couple of weeks ago and pretty much confirmed that it was a difficult decision but he was going to stick to his retirement plan, win or lose.

Oh well...lets hope the Stamps can come out of their funk today and beat the Esks.

Oh yeah...we gotta hope Nicholls isn't out for long .

The backup quarterbacks for the Bombers are horrinle.

TD BC! Boo birds are back.

Lol...this game is a comedy of errors.

Our backup qb situation is on Walters & Osh.

We are being decimated by injuries... Now Harris is hurt.  This is becoming a nightmare.

Terrible to see a player leave the field like that.

definitely should have been called a headshot. How many times have we seen incidental headshots called this year? And THAT one doesn't qualify? Don't know who I'm more pissed at. The refs for their inconsistency or Lefevour for having such a shitty arm that he's getting guys killed out there.

With player safety such an issue having to play 18 regular games should be questioned. If teams go back to a 4 exhibition games  & a 16 game regular season they can ease the starters in during the pre season & play 2 less games during the season. Less chance of injuries. Maybe stretch the season out a bit more. Ottawa had to play 4 games in 11 days earlier this season. Now, they have 1 game in 36 days to end the season which is ridiculous.

If Nichols didn't get hurt this game would even be close.

Defence is making plays but offence can't convert

This is on oshea what the crap is Lefevour doing out there when he can't throw the ball

Suicide pass to Harris possibly cost us the season

I would have put Davis back in after the interception.  Davis looked better moving the ball vs. Lefeavor.

We can't vertically challenge the field with either Davis or LeFevour. We look terrible on offense. #nightmare

This late season swan dive has shown that this team has many holes that have not been addressed since the beginning of the season.

The loss is bad, but worse is the dirty play that BC got away with in this game.

I'm not to concerned about the defence or offence right now.  Without Nicholls it doesn't matter how good our defence or special teams is.

No nichols no chance. Just his calf tho.. Maybe a charlie horse or bruise. Hopefully hes good to go in 2 weeks. Go Stamps Go.

This referee team needs to be let go.

Fired.

The brutal hits they let BC get away with, are inexcusable.

Dirtiest game of the year, and the refs can't see it, right in front of them.

someone is going to get permanently injured letting this stuff go.

Goodbye to this crew.

No ****- anyone knew there would be that stuff going on, given the circumstance. I though the ref crew would call the penalties tight in the begining to set the tone.

Over 500 yards given up again. Wow! Can't wait to hear the apologists for this D come out and try to explain this performance.

Even with all the injuries and offensive problems, I still want Richie Hall fired to be made an example of and send a message that failure isn't an option.

I guarantee you this will be blamed on the offense.

Probably should be when we had all of like 11 first downs
