The defendants in the Goergia vote scandal are likely aware that they have no real defence. Their strategy, like Trump, is to delay, delay, delay until after the next US election in the hope that Trump or another GOP president will overturn or commute their convictions before they do a lot of time. Problem is that the President of the day cannot do anything in terms of pardons for state crimes, there only hope would be a panel of board members appointed by the Governor to pardon them if convicted in Georgia. The truth about Trump has been obvious for decades. Aside from everything else, just on a personal level, he is every pejorative you can name. devoid of any kind of charisma. The eagerness of people to destroy themselves for Trump, is hard to understand. But worthless lazy unskilled people do seem to somehow sometimes thrive.
