I found this interview very interesting.  A lot of soft balls thrown at Trump, he explained his back pedalling on his more extreme issues as a lot of his claims as opening bids for negotiation purposes.  Which .. whatever .. I still think that those are insincere claims he used to get elected.

He does now come across way more presidential then he did prior to the election.  A lot of his noise, yelling, and rhetoric has been scaled back.

Jared's father is as amoral and corrupted as Trump. FYI- Charles Kushner was convicted of fraud and tax evasion, due, in part, to the testimony of his brother and business partner. As revenge, Charles hired an expensive hooker to seduce his brother and had the tryst filmed. Charles then showed the encounter at a family gathering. Classy. No wonder that Jared and Ivanka are so good a fit for each other- they are both cut from the same cloth. Scum begets scum.

I'm glad you said this. Years ago (can't recall if it was here or OB) I said something to the effect of "the average American has far more to fear from homegrown domestic terrorists than they do from any external terrorist threat' (I think I even said guys named Brandon lol) and was met with comments like 'that's a very strange thing to say' or 'how do you figure that'

Sadly, countless mass shootings (Las Vegas and Orlando especially) and the emergence of literal Nazis in the suburbs have made my point.
