Rich
So the professors at the University of Manitoba went on strike today. Haven't seen anyone talking about how this might impact the Bombers. If we do in fact host a playoff game AND the strike continues for another 2 weeks, what are the chances the professors would setup picket lines on Sunday during the game? It would have a huge impact on game day for people getting in and out. Or is there little chance the profs will come in on a Sunday to picket? Goalie
The last strike lasted 4 days. This one probably won't last for 2 weeks lol.

Getting out of IGF is so slow anyhow, I don't know if we would notice the difference. If we win, we won't care but if we lose, we may join them on the picket line! -------------------- This strike may have a longer horizon. The administration has been trying to change how the professors are being evaluated. So far, UMFA has blocked the changes but this could be the big one. Both sides are dug in. I have found if you aim your car at people standing in your way and gun it, they tend to get out of the way pretty quickly. Hey there professors - get the hell out of the way!! Oh yeah, and go back to work too! Edited November 1, 2016 by kelownabomberfan wbbfan
kcin94
The picket will only be up from 7-5 Monday to Friday. It will not affect any events at the stadium. Bigblue204
