Gotta disagree with you there.  He is at minimum top 5 in the league - there's only a few others that run routes and make catches the way he does.

Man if ott takes schoen this year and desjarlais last year we should get all their first round picks for about 100 years lol.

Hatcher is probably out for the season, maybe back in October.
Hollins is pretty clearly a third receiver.  When Rhymes went out they used McInnis and Cottoy a lot more.  Hollins is good not great at getting separation, more of a zone buster playing off others.
I think BC will be all over Schoen.  I'm not really sure why anyone should care about the 6'8 31 year old receiver who hasn't made a team since D2.
If you had a draft of all CFL players, Lawler or Begelton would probably be the first receiver off the board.  They are the only two guys with the full route tree and just crazy dangerous with the ball.

Now, wouldn't that be nice? That would be the best news of the off season. Do you know when the NFL window closes?

No idea if i could hack it or not but I'd give it a shot to see. The money is just too good not to try. If I was 45 years younger.

Trust me, even just doing wellsite stuff in Alberta with the ability to go home every few weeks is soul crushing. I wasn't even on the rig floor,  I did the white collar stuff. Yeah the money is good (or at least was) but it's a pretty awful existence. I am much happier earning less doing what I do now knowing I get to go home every night.

I have family in that line of work.  Many try it due to the $$, and many can't hack it. 

And, I'm okay with this. 
I like Prokup. He's more valuable than Augustine to me. He gets those tough, short yards better than anyone else. And, he's always a risk to throe a pass. 
Now, who catches that pass is not always a Bomber. 
I'll take Strev, a real throwing threat over Prokup. 

Money makes the world go around and he wants his, can't blame everyone else would do the same, it's a short career and after football I don't think he'll have the opportunities that football gives him.

The issue at his position is the likelihood of injury and availability of replacements.  The guys at that position turn over in all leagues every 3ish years.  Nobody wants to commit a ton of money when most years teams need 2-3 or more guys to get through a season at that spot.
The only place I could see him be the kind of missing piece is BC.  But they will have to spend a lot to keep their D somewhat intact.

If you don't think there will be other teams making offers to him, you might be the delusional one.  Will he get the market reset he's hoping for?  I doubt it but you're dreaming if you think coming back here will be his only option.  I mean the Argos over-paid for an aging Andrew Harris so why wouldn't they for Brady who's entering his prime?  There are other teams desperate to win (hello Regina & Ottawa) that would take him in a heart beat.

Most posters start as lurkers until they feel comfortable enough contributing something.
But if you try and share a conflicting opinion and get smashed or threatened or ridiculed, it turns people away. 

I want to hear all and everyone's opinion on how the Bombers perform...game wise, individual player wise and management decisions....This is what makes this site tick....Some comments go a little overboard and a few posters are a little too sensitive....Sometimes it's wise to grow a thick skin and roll with the punches...I hope Booch returns ...a knowledgeable fan like him would be sad to lose...This place is all about the Bombers ....comments good bad or indifferent are and should always be appreciated...

Lurkers help keep the lights on and if, as a community, we drive those people away it's less likely the lights stay on.
In a professional setting are you someone who thinks those in a meeting who are shy, introverted or hesitant to speak are worthless or are you someone who looks for ways to give them a voice?  Do you recognize that different views, perspectives and experiences are valuable and hearing them might benefit the team as a whole or are you someone who rejects that person because they lack the confidence to put themselves out there? Food for thought.
Frankly, I'd rather this be a place where *anyone* feels safe to contribute .. where those with knowledge foster a spirit of understanding of the game and are humble enough to recognize their opinions are not gospel .. I want more voices, not less.
 

Disagree, this site runs on ad revenue, member or not, the more clicks the better. Beesides $, I myself was a lurker on OB.com for a long time before becoming a, what, 13 or 14 years and running contributor to that site then this one. Some lurkers are just members that haven't signed up yet.

Didn't know when to stop? Hmmm, interesting comment considering some of you don't know when to stop either. Do I think Walters can just come in & fire one of MOS coaches without agreement from the HC? No. I don't agree with Booch on that but that's his opinion to which he's entitled.
All this piling on of Booch really sucks because this place is greatly reduced if he truly leaves. Generally, his comments are spot on. He knows his stuff & I enjoy his takes but that doesn't mean he's right all the time. But I've always trusted what he says & I'll continue to do so if he comes back. Some of you though, as soon as you don't agree with another poster then the the condescending comments come out. Like clockwork. 
To be fair, if I point fingers at y'all then I have to point fingers at myself because I do it, too. I can be mean spirited at times. Sometimes our behaviour towards others here is absolutely atrocious. 
But I'm a tough old bird with thick skin. Doesn't bother me if I get sticks thrown at me but it got to Booch. I'm sad he has decided to leave.

Our teams in terms of cover and return has been carried by grant and a couple beast cover guys. Before that, medlock Carried teams. 
 We couldn’t develop our national k/p, couldn’t cover, couldn’t return kicks with out grant, couldn’t develop return guys, and we spent a ton of draft capitol on ni teams guys who didn’t develop either. The kick cover alignment and game plan was horrid all year. Couldn’t get our punter to execute either. 
 
I think he will bounce back with another team and he deserves a look. But for two years he didn’t accomplish jack $&%£ as a teams co. 
I always felt that mos was heavily involved in the game plan. This last year he kept talking about having a plan and sticking to it. Despite it not working. I wonder if the relationship soured or boudreau wanted to make his own stamp and try to jump up from teams co like mos did previously. It’s strange. 
 But this is going to likely be the strangest feeling mafia play off off season to date. 
 I do think it’s positive that mos is willing to move on from a guy who’s been here for soo long. Gives me hope for the rest of the squad. 
 Good (coaching) roster management. 

Special teams have been an issue for a couple seasons now so not really a surprise. 
Like our teams last year were complete crap.
