  1. From what I watched he was accurate on the short throws. Didn't see many long throws. His best asset is his legs.
  2. Trdae Lawless for a box of donuts.
  3. Lazy journalism. If you can call it journalism.
  4. Because most other provinces/cities don't have the cash to do that plan. I agree the BC Plan worked awesome but it also cost a buttload more money than either Winnipeg or Hamilton spent/are spending. weren't most the stands/seats left over from the winter olympics also? That played a role, also winnipeg had a stadium to play at so winnipeg is kind of irrelevant here. I don't know, all I know is that the government here spent $500 million on the stadium upgrade, with nary a comment or complaint from anyone, or even any discussion. It just "happened". A few socialists complained after the fact, but it never even was mentioned during the election last year. Imagine if the Manitoba government just decided to spend $500 million on a new arena for the Jets? Every old crank and nut in Winnipeg would be crying the blues and the issue would be debated endlessly. Here, no one even batted an eye. Was any Olympic money used for the project?
  5. linebacker. Was Nick Araki a TE?
  6. An interesting read. http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/200909/nfl-players-brain-dementia-study-memory-concussions http://www.si.com/nfl/2014/07/08/will-smith-mike-webster-pittsburgh-steelers-game-brain
  7. Cotton didn't handle the ball well on returns.
  8. I know a few people who have blacked out at a game.
  9. C'mon, we had TJ Rubley. He passed for over 713 yards in one season. Dunigan passed for that in one game.lol
  10. I think the offence plays are designed to get the ball away quicker this year. May also be that Willy is making quicker reads and getting rid of the ball sooner than Hall was. Think the oline has improved from early last year.
  11. They need to broadcast another game. There are no other games on Thursday the 31st. They could do the Friday or sat games I guess. Showing a game in a 5,000 seat stadium would be a major black eye. With only 4000 fans in attendance
  12. Doubt there are a 1000 fans wondering around polo park that will go to the game on a whim.
  13. Maybe management believes bringing in Romby will help Willy in the short term. Thinking its important for a new qb to get some veteren support early on.
  14. Good to hear they will serve booze all game long. Hope some drunks don't do anything stupid to ruin it but at $10 a beer I doubt it.
  15. Anyone know the official season ticket count?
  16. bryan35 replied to Floyd's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
If Messam can't start and can't play special teams the Bombers won't be bringing him here. End of story.
  17. Brings back memories of having season tickets in 1984. Those were some good teams back then.
  18. Marve was also playing with our back up offence
  19. I'm interested to see what Hall can do this year. He was improving as the year went on.
