  1. We scored three TDs. Two through the air and one by Flanders to close out the game. It's hardly the days of getting one TD every other game. Remember Buck Pierce's best season of his Bomber career in 2011? He scored 14 TDs. Matt's already at 13.
  2. Whoa whoa Whoa. I also like the Buck comparison for the "grit" factor, but Nichols ain't in the same league as Buck as far as his rushing abilities. Buck was an actual runner. Matt just picks his spots.
  3. He paid more than they could sustain, had a kick *** receiving core, won a grey cup. We all knew the contracts would catch up with them. On the other side of the field, people can say Edmonton is winning through smoke and mirrors all they like, but the Eskies keep winning.
  4. I used the disagree emoji. Because I disagree.
  5. Collaros was never anything more than potential. He could never stay on the field when he was good, and know that he's on the field he's no longer performing. Not even in the conversation in my mind.
  6. That's what I'm sayin'
  7. I can't name another QB who would be #3. I'm trying not to be a homer, but I'm not putting any of the East QBs ahead of Matt. You can't rate Ray up there just because of the legacy. Harris can't finish games. Who else is potentially there?
  8. Don't understand.
  9. True. Mike Reilly got his shot late in life (He was 28 first season in Edmonton) and is really coming into his own. No reason why Matt, who is in his first season as a starter, can't continue to grow his game the way Reilly has.
  10. He's not on the same level as Mitchell and Reilly, so no, I can't call him elite. As others have said though, he's playing more than well enough to win us games and if the rest of our team can raise their level of play, he could be a Grey Cup winning QB, no question.
  11. Tried it when it first came out. Never again.
  12. This needs to happen. Make it all local! (Although they'd probably start charging $17/beer).
  13. Andrew Harris
  14. The post I quoted was talking about Glenn in his prime. I can't put any QB who hasn't played a full season ahead of a guy who brought us to the Grey Cup. That said, I do really like Matt Nichols, but we can't use what we think he might do to put him ahead of a guy who has already done it.
  15. Nichols has also never started a full season... Never passed for 20 TDs... Never won us a play off game... Maybe let him be our starter for one full season before you anoint him over Glenn, who did a lot of good things while a Bomber.
  16. They have among the best attendance in the league every year, don't they ?
  17. Exactly, they're betting on the emotion of a new stadium/crowd factor. We saw ourselves how that worked out.
  18. Denmark
  19. Wins only account for 10%, I believe,
  20. Sinopoli
  21. I've seen DE's rock the single digit, but that's it.
  22. We already have Hurl as our trusted veteran.
  23. UCLA? Nice. I think I found a new favourite player.
  24. Great article. but yeah, I haven't heard a couple of those names before today. Tahaan Goodman had 2 picks? Who is that?
