I don't think we're going to sign him for multiple reasons. Nor do I want to (count me in as someone who doesn't think he has a full season of football in him anymore). But I think the most likely scenario sees him going back to TO.

I don't think you can expect or hope for an end-around here. If Collaros is signing with us next year (which I don't for a minute expect), it's going to cost us that first rounder.

Using 5000 yards as an indicator for a pass-first offence, can we do it with Nichols and Streveler? Obviously, we don't want 5000 yards and 20 INTs on a 5-13 team. But given our current personnel, is a down field attack going to be effective?

Matty could easily pass for 4000 (If healthy and conditions are good, etc, etc, etc). I just think that "4000 yards" and a "downfield attack with multiple 1000 yard receivers" are two separate things.

4000 is a bit of an arbitrary number which doesn't really describe a down field attack, imo. I would love a QB who is going to get an all star nod. I don't particularly like the offence we've been seeing these past few years. I do understand the limitations of some of our players at this moment in time.
