When do we fire Ritchie Hall? Not this year (unless we start 0-8). A lot of guys on here on poo-pooing the Collaros signing but me thinks the Bombers better step it up on defense this year as Saskatchewan, Calgary, and Edmonton could potentially all be vying for top spot in the west. Bottom line-we need to get better as the west is going to get even tougher.

Based on what he has shown thus far in his limited playing time I think Franklin is going to be way better than Adams...but we shall see

Durant or Glenn as back up would work for me. I can't see Glenn back in Regina next year unless Collaros or Franklin sign elsewhere

So an unnamed source (supposedly from Alberta) was quoted on 620 radio Regina today saying that "If the Riders sign Zach Collaros they are going to run the table on the rest of the league" - meaning, I guess, that they would go 18-0. Now I have heard ridiculous delusional things from Rider fans and from Rider media but this one might take the cake. Weirdest part is the guy supposedly is not a Rider fan - although I think he must have recently drank some Regina water or something.

Zach Collaros (sp?) still a wild card out there. If I was Sask or Montreal I would go after the guy...although unless Montreal improves their personel around him it would be another Hamilton scenario. Just saying that Sask may not be finished their QB caroseell.

I doubt another start up league would ever work...at least not for any significant amount of time unless it's on a much smaller scale. The NFL is hurting though...lots of people turned off by anthem protests (Roger Godell needed to do something earlier). In some stadiums you can get some very cheap tickets.

I mistakedly thought the early start to the schedule was due to the whole season being moved up...looks like it's moved up only because of the 3rd bye week. Not sure I like a 3rd bye week...hope it actually does something for player safety

Doesn't the Stanley Cup usually end in early June (way too late IMO)? They could still start the regular season, say, in the 2nd week of June and not conflict, right? Open camp in early May.

Grey Cup was on November 19th in 2006. That's not early. I would like to see them start at least 2 weeks earlier to start with.
