There is another way to look at this too: Rarely does a CFL QB look good in his 1st start/1st time getting into a game...the exceptions that I can think of were:Kent Austin, Doug Flutie and Jeff Garcia. Most guys need plenty of time. I am not saying Davis will develop into a CFL starter if given more time. I just think he was given limited reps, was hamstrung by poor play calling when in there, and then was leapfrogged by LeFevour which most saw as a real head-stratcher.

If Bombers bring in Durant then there's definitely no room for the Fevour...we'd have to go minimal salary/rookie/developmental guy at 3rd string.

Maybe Durant is a good option, but it would have to be for the right price.

We know. But he was Argo property before he got traded to Winnipeg. He also never played for Ottawa but he was their property before being traded.

It's been re-cast. In season 2 or 3 now. I prefer the original actor, but his side kick friend on the new show is a good balance. Anyways, its one of the shows I try to watch weekly.

Tyrone Jones may be our best rushing LB of all time. Doesn't he hold the Grey Cup record for sacks in one game (maybe Tait mentioned that, can't remember). Part of a 3-4 set, I know. A friend of mine saw Jones in an airplane once and said the guys thighs were so massive that he could barely fit into the seat.

Pretty hard to eliminate all head hits, since there are times the ball carrier turns into the defender at the last instant. Anyways , I am in favour of adding one more challenge per team. Milt's TD record will never be broken. The guy was money when it counted, and considering all the forgettable QB's he played with, it makes his accomplishments all that more special. Rod Hill was also special. He was so good that when Les Browne (all time CFL INT leader) was on the other corner QB's would prefer to throw to Browne's side instead of Hill's. Now if we could get our defense even remotely close to those great 80's/early 90's defenses we become Cup favorites.

When do we fire Ritchie Hall? Not this year (unless we start 0-8). A lot of guys on here on poo-pooing the Collaros signing but me thinks the Bombers better step it up on defense this year as Saskatchewan, Calgary, and Edmonton could potentially all be vying for top spot in the west. Bottom line-we need to get better as the west is going to get even tougher.

Durant or Glenn as back up would work for me. I can't see Glenn back in Regina next year unless Collaros or Franklin sign elsewhere
