Hutch might be gonzo and helle takes his place... Scheif Lowry and trouba are rfa with no arbitration rights.. they could all sign short term deals at lower money... rookies will come in and they will be on their ELC deals still. No need to even worry about this stuff until the time comes really. Lots can and will happen. Maybe Quebec and Vegas get expansion teams and take a couple guys off our hands. Few guys on 1 yr deals probably won't be signed again next year. Lots of space and time.

The only guys on the BOD now who might have been here a long time now are Watchorn and Asper. The rest are pretty new. Well, The young guys are our future and so far... the young guys they have drafted and developed like Scheif,Trouba,Lowry for that matter have all looked good. Hopefully a couple others come in and continue the trend.

NAH... let's just do what we've been doing the last 25 years and see if that works... Well, for sure.. but if Scheif puts up 55 60 as #2 center, that's pretty damn impressive and honestly, i see no reason why he couldn't. It also really depends on your teams make up really... Like for example, would you rather have 1 50 goal scorer or maybe 3 30 goal scorers instead? Would you rather have 1 guy with 100 points in a season or maybe 2 with well over 100 combined. Really depends on your teams make up really. Would I like Ovechkin on the Jets and would i like it if he scored 50 for us? Yup, but... at the same time, I'm fine with a bunch of guys scoring 20 goals too.
