I could also see bennett cuz a line in the future of Bennett Scheif Wheeler would probably be outstanding. Ekblad makes no sense at all. We have trouba and Bogo Unless it's bogo and the 9th for the 1st (wouldn't shock me)

Sports Entertainment really. And i'm not sure how having reporters in the dressing room is considered "entertainment". To who? What do we get? a 40 second clip on the sports show in winnipeg about the bombers? So Entertaining. We will still get interviews with players, just b4 the game. TSN BOMBERS don't exist. The Post-Game show does but i'm sure those guys will still get their interviews. As a fan, all we can do is listen to it, why does it really matter anyway. Let's not write some of these guys off b4 they get a chance Bruce Johnson,Paris Cotton,Mo Leggett... these guys could be very good, saying our scouting is an epic failure because why? couldn't find a 5th receiver and couldn't find a defensive end? that's going a little far. We got us some talent and i'm sure they will turn out to be pretty good. Heck Marve too. It's not like we didn't find anybody.. look around the league, how many rookies are starting on other teams? Probably not many.

Was said previously in a way but, It's guys like friesen who ruin it for the rest of the media. I don't think they need to be in the locker room, i don't think they need to interview assistant coaches, what would a guy like friesen, who really doesn't even understand what's going on on the field most of the time ask these guys? We wouldn't learn anything from it. Just a waste of time really. Some media are good, irving (is he really considered media though), tait, bauming,penton are all good guys, but its guys like friesen and wicek who piss and moan like they are entitled and they ruin it for the irvings and the good ones around. However, with that being said, perhaps the best thing to do would be to allow certain media members access and to not allow guys like friesen or wicek access. I'm honestly not sure what the point of having multiple "media" there, i mean really does the sun need both penton and friesen in there? does the free press need both wicek and tait? bauming reps TSn radio, bob reps cjob radio. Why do the papers need more than one guy there? I'd ban friesen and take away his credentials, just to piss the guy off a bit more.

why would true north want hartnell, that contract is terrible for him. Why wouldn't they touch vanek? guys a proven goal scorer and can play the RW. wheeler vanek frolik down the right looks pretty good. I doubt they would pay him what he wants but wouldn't surprise me if they spoke to him.

Like i said, i'd probably rather have romby than kelly but... at the same time, romby is pretty old, hasn't played too well the last couple seasons. Surely we could do better than kelly and surely we could do better than Romby. Why not take a look at a few of the younger guys, receiver shouldn't be a hard position to find guys at. I'd rather take my chances on a younger guy over 34 year old bryant. I guess in the big picture, i'm not sure i see a point in bringing in a 34 year old when surely theres a 24 year old out there who could be better and actually might still be here when we actually become competitive and good and challenge for the grey cup. I don't see Romby being a long term solution, actually i know he isn't. Why not give woods a shot or jaymar johnson or really take your pick of one or 2 of the 1000000000000000's of receivers down in the states. Hell, i'd rather we go sign etienne and or sisco and start kohlert watson feoli-guidino i think with sisco/etienne or carter backing them up. I mean if we are gonna go with a 34 year old, why not just help the ratio out a bit and start another canadian receiver instead. Moore,Demark,Watson,Kohlert,JFG. Better than a 34 year old.

Philly trades Scott Harnell to CBJ for RJ Umberger.. guess it's a wash, Umberger younger but not very good, pretty much the same salary cap hit but Hartnell has 2 or 3 more years left on his deal compared to Umberger. Bit of a head scratcher though. Markov re-ups in montreal for 3 years. 5.75 aav. That's a big cap hit for a 38 year old. You trade Kane and our left wing depth becomes andrew ladd, that's why i don't see it happening. Well, edmonton would have to add, there is a risk with yakupov, he's russian, he could go to the KHL, there is always that risk. Kane has 4 years left on his deal, yak has 1 and could easily bolt to russia. I don't see that happening, Edmonton really has no need for kane and we don't really have a need for yakupov. Kane should be able to fetch you more than yakupov. I like yak but... when you break it down, that deal doesn't help either team really. The more logical trade with edmonton would be buff or toby, i just don't see how kane helps edmonton and i don't see how yakupov helps the Jets. The jets have very little LW depth, you trade kane and your depth becomes even worse. Kane,Ladd then what? trade kane and then it becomes ladd and a bunch of scrubs really. Don't see Kane to Edmonton at all.
