Stoudemire? I don't think he's really been a big problem, yeah he's had a couple mistakes but if you are cutting guys cuz they made a couple mistakes, might as well cut the whole damn team then. I don't get the stoudemire bashing, just last week he had a great return to set up the willy to darvin adams TD.

Not so long ago, when Durant got hurt, people on here were going on about how good our QB depth was... Brohm played a bit and sucked and it changed but... let's not pretend that a few shorts weeks ago people weren't pretty much pimping how good our QB depth was. Yeah It's gonna take a bit of a hit when your starter gets hurt, no doubt about it... Time to see what Marve can do. If not Marve then Davis... I'm at the point where i don't want them to recycle QBs from the past, i'd rather they give a younger guy a chance and stick with him a few weeks.

Why not just see what Marve can do first, I'm sure they will bring in another QB but i doubt that guy sees the field... I guess, what i hope happens is they bring in another QB during the bye week, lets just say he's a newbie QB, a guy off the neg list, someone like that... They put him on the PR to let him learn the game, 6-8 weeks go by and Willy is healthy to play, Brohm gets cut and we go with Willy,Marve,Davis on the active roster and keep the youngster on the PR. Would like to see Brohm cut now, since he's being paid nicely and not doing anything but... that seems unlikely, hopefully before the vet cut down day tho.

Wouldn't Khari as OC and i like the guy but wouldn't it be like Having MB as OC all over again? Khari got his start in Hamilton did he not? when MB was coach? Khari is MB just a younger version really. I don't know if I'd have much interest in Khari. I don't think LAPO is the answer either, he's been here b4 2 x and yeah... very vanilla, It's like people don't remember screaming at the TV when it was 2nd and 10 and lapo called a 4 yard pass.

I think the bombers have about as much of a chance as signing Heenan as anyone else does really.. IF he goes come back to the CFL, he's gonna go to the highest bidder, that easily could be the bombers. But, i think it's unlikely he signs with the CFL until his NFL aspirations are completely gone. I think the Colts will bring him back when he's healthy and I think he will stick there for a while, and if not, he will check out his other NFL opportunities and if none are there, he will be back in the CFL next season, not sure where but... really, why not here.

I saw something about that.. the drop off, The back up is Ryan Fitzpatrick, has better numbers than GINO but is the only QB in the league to not play in a playoff game after x number of starts.

For sure, but... to be fair, Johnny Adams,Khalil Bass, Nate Collins, Justin Veltung, guess this week we will see Gordon and Scott, see what they can do... I think they have found some talent, Adams is a shutdown corner, Bass is a beast it seems, Collins has looked good when he has played, Veltung has been our best receiver the last couple weeks... It's not like they have found nothing really.. could even say Cam Marshall, and i get he was here last year but... he's looked good in limited reps.. I think they have found some guys and i guess this week, with injuries we will see what a couple others can do too.

Let's be honest here, There isn't much film on Marve, we have no idea really what he can and can not do.. and i'm guessing thats the same for other teams in the league, all we really know is he has a cannon arm, can exploit teams deep with that gun of his, he can also run it seems... he's a dual threat QB... Not much real film on the guy... it will be interesting to see how he does, first time he's actually gonna be getting the 1st team reps too. Wouldn't shock me if he comes out and has a great game and we win, it also wouldn't shock me if he struggles badly and we lose. I guess we will see, one thing for sure tho, it should be exciting down at IGF on friday. Get the feeling we gonna see several 2 and outs but also gonna see a few long long bombs completed for TDs or huge gains. Perhaps the first play of the game they go deep, I might consider doing it... Send Gordon or whoever deep and go for it. Send a message right away. Hope we don't see the dink and dunk stuff, gotta let the kid play. see what he can do, play to Marves strengths.

My wife ran inside half an hour ago after sorting buttons outside and called me to tell about the fearsome lightning. Hey if you can't sort buttons then you can't sort out football plays. Oh I forgot to say I live a couple of Jon Ryan punts from the stadium in Fort Richmond. Well, its 1230 now let's say... so... I'd say around 11 1115 it was coming down here, thunder rumbling pretty good, couple flash lightning strikes, just actually heard some thunder as i was typing so maybe it's making it's way back... but it didn't last long at all, sounds like the same thing in the south end, as it appears the bombers are back on the field.

Edmonton at 1? Outside of McDavid and Nurse, they have very little prospects and both those guys will probably be on the big squad this year so yeah Edmonton at 1 is a joke... Guys playing in the NHL are no longer considered prospects. Toronto at 2 in the other guys listings is also a joke... Nylander Marner? Who else? That's it really. Leafs are in for a long rebuild and everyone with half a brain knows it, the depth isn't there. I'd put Winnipeg and Buffalo at 1 and 2... if we are talking about actual prospects and not guys already in the league.

McManus and Goveia have scouted for years, Walters is very familiar with the Canadian Talent. I don't really get some of the posts on here, we are 3-4 and battling BC for third, BC ain't that great so its very possible we will get 3rd even with the Willy injury, It's almost like when adversity hits, the fans just go nuts and declare the season is over and then look for scapegoats immediately, we are 3-4. Why are people acting like we are 0-7? Seriously, it's mind boggling at times to read some of these posts but then again, I've been posting long enough to know that when the going gets tough, some of the "fans" get going really... Anyways, regarding the OC, i don't think its gonna happen mid season, it seems unlikely, never works, basically would be running the same O with a different guy in charge, you can't expect to change your playbook completely in a bye week, it just can't and never happens really. As for the running backs coach, look around the league, lots of teams have them.. the way i see it, the RBs coach is an entry level position really, it's an offensive assistant really... many teams in the league have running backs coaches. Would i like to see Marcel sent packing? YOU DAMN RIGHTS... Will it happen mid season? Unlikely.

Depending on what forum you came from, I'd say 90 percent of the people who posted there also post here. It is what it is. Very very bandwagon ish after a loss and very very over the top after a win.

If Brohm has been relegated to 3rd string, I'd cut him too. No point paying him good money to suck We are 3-4 and our bye week is next week so wouldn't shock me I'd some moves were made then. Before seems unrealistic but during the bye week I'd be disappointed if we didn't cut some guys and bring others in.

16 through 7 games? So prior to giving up 7 vs Hamilton we only had given up 9 sacks in 6 games? That's actually pretty good
