Frolik is not the reason we aren't good. It's never one player or one reason. People can go on about the goalies, Stuart, Chiarot Frolik Stempniak whoever. .. it is all irrelevant. This team just isn't good enough. The core group just can't get it done. I've accepted it. Ladd Buff Toby... little even and I like him but reality on other teams these guys aren't the "stars" they are just depth role players. Wheeler is the only guy who isn't

I hope Nashville and Dallas woop the Jets really good so they are forces to make changes and not irrelevant ones like goaltending or 3rd pair D.... real legit changes to the core of this team which just isn't good enough. Ladd. Buff. Toby. Stuart. Stafford can go too if someone wants him. Myers too. Ya they aren't core guys but... this team needs lots of change. Hope for Auston Matthews too.

Chiarot is terrible. Hutch has been ok but one goal was soft, one was on the PK so... Can't blame him much for that one altho he should have held on to the puck instead of trying to clear it. Jets just look bad, they look slow, they look like quite frankly, they looked like they played last night. That Chiarot Stuart pairing is just, i dunno, is it the worst d pair in the league? If not, it's top 5 worst for sure.

Gonna add tho, Jets look like they are skating in quick sand. Just look slow. Nice non call on the slash on Burmi by Perry. You know the Jets would be in the box for that one.

Kane never did come out publicly and say he wanted a trade tho. That's the difference here. For as much as a goof Kane was, he never actually came out and said he wanted to be traded, Not until after he was traded.

Interesting predictions by tait... Thinks the Jets will fall off a bit the next while, think they will trade both Buff and Ladd for picks and prospects... Think they will take Matthew Tkachuk with their high pick in the draft and think on July 1st, the Jets will actually sign Buff as a UFA. The other guy was talking about Scheif and the RFA's... Thinks Scheif signs 8 years 40 million,Think Trouba goes the PK Subban route and goes bridge deal and puts up big points with more minutes and then cashes in on his next deal with the Jets, not sure if it will be a 1 or 2 year bridge deal... not sure i agree with Trouba ever being as good as PK but interesting none the less, Thinks all the other RFA's will be easy to sign... Totally different scenario. Drouin went public with his trade request. That's the part that lowers his value. TBH I don't even want Drouin. He's another small guy... Jets don't really need him even. Someone will overpay for him. I hope it's not Chevy

And I wouldn't trade Ladd or Buff straight up for Drouin. His value is very low. Sorry but publicly announcing you want a trade = zero to no value at all. He's a prospect with 6 goals in 89 games.... attitude issues apparently. I don't give up much. Maybe Stuart and a 3rd at most. Drouin won't get much back

Win tonight and Tuesday in Nashville and I'll start to believe again. This team is very good 5 on 5. Dominating at times 5 on 5. Their biggest problem is the penalties and if those can stop.... they have a shot for sure. Draft is a funny thing this year. Jets could wind up 14th but could easily pick 1st 2nd or 3rd

Yup. No way Thor should be playing above the 4th line. Perfect 4th liner. But when he's in your top 9.. You got problems. Either depth or coaching ones. Watch Thor in the d zone. Just lost completely. WILL ice the puck instead of chipping it out. Happened last night twice in the final minutes. He got the puck and iced it. Thorburn Perreault Ehlers stuck on the ice for 2 or 3 minutes cuz of Thorburn. Not just because of him but he played a huge role cuz he kept icing it.

From all accounts he's the guy they are working on signing. From all accounts they haven't even talkedto Buff. Ladd will sign. Buff will be traded and in the long run.. Due to the rhd depth and lack of lw depth.... probably the right move. Personally I'd move them both but that's just me. I feel that its time to shake things up a bit so I'd look to mmove Ladd Buff Toby Even. I think Chevy and the Jets tho will sign Ladd and move the other 2.

Need to come to the conclusion that Ladd will sign a new deal with the Jets.
