I don't see Pittsburgh as likely at all, they basically have nothing to give up.. they have no real prospects outside of Derrick Pouliot who is a LHD but at the same time, that's all they have. They don't have a first, i'm not even sure they have a second. Basically, I'd see Pitt more interested in Enstrom or Stafford and i don't think the Jets would trade Ladd to Pittsburgh without a first coming back. Pouliot is ok but... he's got a lot of question marks. Minny? Very doubtful since they are in a tailspin right now, however who knows, they don't have much to offer prospect wise either, I'd take their first tho. Anaheim? Definitely. Chicago? Definitely. Florida? I don't see it being likely at all.

This whole Stamkos debate is silly. It basically really does come down to his no move clause which he negotiated in to his contract. It would be nice if these no move clauses didn't exist or if these guys weren't guaranteed their money, but... they do and they are. I guess, you can see this 2 ways, 1... Yzerman did shop him around but didn't like the return or 2. He didn't shop him around cuz he has inside info that Stamkos will be signing a new deal with Tampa. The Toronto media can pump up these guys and pretend they all want to come home and play for the leafs but reality with a place like Tampa since it's in Florida and perhaps this is what people may not understand... Lets just pretend Leafs did make stamkos an offer, let's just call it 10 million a year, well, with taxes, it's less than 10 million a year. Way less actually. In Florida because there are no taxes like that, 10 million is 10 million.

"School Day" Game, meaning the Rockford arena was sold out with kids from school. Cool idea. Moose should do it. 5 out of 6 points in their last 3 games. Not so bad.

Anyone hear Maurice after the game? Didn't say much but what he did says it all. Change is needed badly. He was asked about what message did he give to the team between the 2nd and 3rd intermission. He said the same message he gave to start the game. That says the team really isn't listening. It's almost as if they are tuning him out. That would be the second coach this team has tuned out. Players need to go. Off season. In my opinion. You keep Wheeler. You obviously keep Buff. Scheif ehlers armia one not both of trouba or Myers and the rest... well... it's time to look at moving some guys out. People can talk about bringing in 2 much youth to the team but youth brings hope. It brings optimism. You stick with the same group tho and what's it say really. It's rewarding failure

You under estimate some of these guys talent level. We will see what happens but Lemieux could very easily be a Jet next season.

Trading from a position of strength like RHD... Trouba or Myers to upgrade a position of weakness like LHD would be a good idea. That's a start. There is 1 D man on the Jets who is guaranteed to be back next year and that's the #1 RHD who just signed for 5 more years

If Connor is ready and the Jets feel he is ready he will be here next season. It's that simple. Some guys are just ready when they are ready. Connor is very good and all about the speed. He's pretty much proving that he's 2 good for the NCAA and is ready for the next step. He pretty much has nothing to prove playing in the NCAA next year

Eklund is a huge joke. He is such a joke that years ago he was on a USA based trade center show. He was such a gong show he wasn't invited back. 2 minutes after he says he's heard that ryan Smyth and the oilers have agreed to a contract extension... Smyth was traded. That whole show had many more instances of what he said the opposite happened. Heck man. Eklund isn't even the guys real name.
