It's hard to say if our assistants play a significant role or are just basically yes men for Maurice. I dunno. When he was hired permanently he had the choice to let huddy Flaherty and Vincent go... he decided to keep them tho. Vincent is now head coach of the Moose where he looks to be pretty competent... moose Powerplay and PK much more exciting than the Jets also so does make you wonder a bit. Our PP and PK look pretty similar to the pp and pk from last year. Vincent is with the Moose tho. Makes you think that maybe our assistants are a bunch of yes men.

Don't think Jets are practicing much this week. Think Maurice said it's time to just rest for a couple days. They do need to but man... it's a tough decision.... 32 games in 60 days is tough... for guys like Wheeler Buff Laine Scheif they all played at the WC so even more for them. They need the rest and guys like Scheif and Wheeler for sure definitely need to heal up. Maurice is hopefully in the video room with the team tho.... I'm not sure being on the ice is tge best thing for them right now... they just finished a stretch where they were on it playing games pretty much every other day... I don't like the schedule excuse and I don't buy it but... it did appear that the last few games they were just running on fumes. Basically I think they went all out Vs St Louis and Chicago in that back to back then were really just running on empty.

They won 4 of 5 with Trouba. Can say the same about stafford little Perreault.

Talent is there. It's not being used properly. I get you refuse to accept that coaching is a problem but it Is a huge one.

Owned in the 3rd. Tough break but PP and PK suck and cost them again. Nice giveaways by Buff to start the 3rd and a few others. Wheeler and Scheif look hurt. Vets outside of Perreault who is starting to come around really struggling. Enstrom not good since back from Sweden.

Put ehlers with Scheif and Laine Put little with Wheeler and I'll say Perreault Leave them be for a couple games... don't break them up after 1 or 2 periods. We look lost out there because our lines aren't together long enough to actually build chemistry

Matt Murray plays on a team who just won the cup. Helle plays on a team who were picking up their cups off the ice last night because they suck. Calgary embarrassed the Jets and have played the same amount of games. Pittsburgh is playing up tempo 2016 hockey. Maurice and the Jets are playing dump and chase all game long.

Helle plus Veteran back up /starter not named Pav would be best this year. Hutch is not nhl calibre. Helle is 23. He's a young guy still.

Stanley is more of a defensive d man. Jets need those cuz the offensive ones like Buff aren't exactly helping them Who have our 2 best d been so far? Morrissey and Trouba... both are pretty Damn good defensively and both don't put up much points. Give me Trouba Morrissey Hamonic types over Buff types any day. The number 1 job of a d man is to play D.

I actually said if healthy they would be a playoff bubble team. Do ppl know what that means? It means they would be close to making it or just missing it. I said nothing about them making it. Another ass wooping like last night and mo probably gets sent packing so part of me is hoping for 6 7 8 0 Edmonton with the Jets looking as awful as they did last night. 13 wins in 31 games. Most OT/Regular season losses in the league. That was Calgary 30th game today. No excuses. Our coaching is pathetic
