Cuz in the alternate universe where I played in the NHL for 15 years, I’m not sure if I have 50 million dollars but no cup if I’m happy signing for 15 million per when my dream is to lift the cup. With 50 million in my bank I might consider taking way less to sign with a contender than to make 130 million over 8 but be eliminated in rd 1 every year.

If Adams and woods were some superstar DL sure but they aren’t. Ppl need to accept and admit that, they aren’t great. Are they better than Jake? Probably but we all know Jake would still be getting more reps so really, they don’t want to use the DL like some of you want the DL to be used, they don’t want 8 or 9 DL dressed like most of us do. So I don’t even see the point in even talking about it honestly. Yeah they start 9 Canadians, I know. We all know. That isn’t gonna change just cuz it’s repeated 50 times online. Your past actions tho also give a pretty clear mindset that you’re a closer rider fan and that you can’t see the Forrest through the trees. People now acting like pro athletes don’t play through injuries in every sport. It’s just ridiculous. Neil pionk of the jets played with a broken foot, guess Bowness at the time was an arrogant prick, wheeler played through a nut injury, Maurice is such an arrogant prick. Dudes on the Argos playing through injuries right now, Dinwiddie is a prick so is Buck in bc and Dave in Calgary and Cory in Regina cuz every team has players playing through injuries after week 1.

Jones Adams and Woods would take out 3 current Americans on the roster. Jake Thomas ain’t taken off so woods can come on. Woods is American. It really isn’t as simple as they play. If those 3 play, 3 current Americans on the roster come off. Jake stays on cuz honestly our Canadian depth is garbage. I really don’t see Adams or woods being that dominant that they make a difference. Adams is a guy I want to like but he really hasn’t done lots as a pro. He’s just average really. We have the weakest American DTs in the league.

I’m not sure who is worse honestly. Zach and Strev have both been pounded almost every game. At this point the elks are getting better and we are getting worse. We will lose to the elks.

Maybe it’s more on Zach or the fact by the time Zach gets the ball he has pressure coming up the middle cuz Kolo ole’d again. O starts with the O line. Ours is the worst in the league. Our oline is like how dark it is by 9pm now. Not very long ago it was light until after 10. Now it’s dark by 845 830 ish. Not very long ago our oline was good, now they suck.

I tend to agree with O’Shea when he says there’s lots of speculation about Zach from people who don’t know the whole story so I’ll just leave it be. I’ll just say, I’ve had concussions and the problem with concussions is the next one is easier to get then the first one is so yeah. Hopefully it’s not a concussion. Maybe it’s not. But now you find out for sure if Strev is a starter or not. He doesn’t appear to be one but he’s getting the reps so no excuses now. I hope Strev surprises. In the end the W is all that matters. O’Shea has never been one to give the media or fans much of anything. His coaches show is beyond terrible. He says nothing. Only time coaches show tho was interesting was the Mike Kelly year so expecting anything is kind of on you. He does come across as a bit of an ass tho. But it don’t matter if I think he’s an ass, it matters what the players think and sounds like they all would run through a brick wall for the guy so who knows. the talent just isn’t there this year. That’s partially on O’Shea although I don’t think they cut any future stars and it’s mainly tho on Walters and the scouts cuz if the talent ain’t there then it ain’t there. As much as ppl pretend Adams or woods makes a difference, Adams didn’t when he was rostered. Talent is lacking and that’s on more than just O’Shea. He’s not going to say they lack talent tho. the conspiracy theory lover in me likes to believe Walters has sabotaged the season cuz there’s some issues between him and Osh and Kyle knows not hosting a playoff game gets Osh fired. I dunno. Sure seems like sabotage to me. This started in the off season when we let guys walk and brought in crap.

Damn. After watching that O’Shea interview it’s beyond obvious that if Zach can play Osh will play him. This is part of the problem. Hey Osh it is our business how Zach is doing cuz last week you played a dude on a torn ACL and in the cup game you played 3 injured players. It is our business. Dudes become a smug ass. Yes Osh needs to go. Watching his interview it’s apparent he needs to go.

He don’t get hurt. Now would be a good time to sign Elgersma and roster him with the intention on giving him reps sooner rather than later. I guess that’s up to him tho and probably not us right now but things sure seem quiet with him.

Drew was ok but some of you misremembering how important he was. This fascination with drew and Kenny like they make a difference when there’s dudes in and on the qb almost as soon as the ball arrives at times is wild.

On O it’s Kolo Neufeld and Wallace right now. lol at receivers when the QB is on his ass in 2 seconds. on D. They rotate a bit but it’s probably Vaval Lawson and Willie or Vaughters. I know. Not Jake. And that’s cuz with Jake I don’t expect him to make a difference. I expect the ends to make the difference and they haven’t. I think tho it’s really CBs Safety and DL in general.
