Yup. The worst thing the bombers did that game was injure MBT cuz we were winning at that point. Kelly came in and we couldn’t tackle. And the rest as they say is history and you guys had your lunch hour parade at city hall.

I’m under the impression ceresna and brinkman were gonna end up in the same place along with Robbie smith. And they all did. In reality none of the “high profile” free agents were coming here. They were going to the highest bidder and the highest bidder is never the teams who were just in the cup. We lost a receiver and defensive back, both appear to be overpaid, Toronto lost their entire D line. Montreal didn’t spend like morons. Bombers didn’t either, depth appears improved tho. Normally the bad teams spend like fools in the off season and they did. And if that worked then bc and Hamilton would be in cup finals and winning but they haven’t. its like the nhl free agent frenzy. Jets don’t sign any big names (there’s reasons lol) but every year ppl complain when they don’t. But they are currently the best team in the league but in July ppl were pissed they didnt overpay a guy to come here. Teams who spend spend spend on hockey and the cfl, they don’t really win. Baseball the only sport where you can probably buy a winner and basketball but even then you only get Yankees vs dodgers once every 20 years in the final. as for the whole we lost 3 in a row stuff, things happen in single game winner take all scenarios. The undefeated patriots lost to the giants. The 14 and 4 bombers lost to an 8 and 10 Calgary team. Kansas city just got owned by Philly. It happens. That’s sports.

The bombers channel was probably closer to 240 or 250 than 275. And that’s really what it comes down to. If Sask offered him 280 he’d be there. If Calgary offered 282 he’d go there. Pretty obvious they weren’t willing to pay Kenny close to 275 cuz of they were they could have matched that 275 and all things being equal we would have the best weight room and facilities still.

Reggie White Jr might not compare to anyone we have brought in recently because of the knee exploding issues he’s dealt with. At one point RWJ was a big time deep threat and legit receiver in the league. That was prob 2 3 seasons ago now tho. I think if he makes the active roster it’s a win. I’m honestly not expecting it tho. Boom or bust in my opinion and I’m leaning towards bust, no reason just feel he ain’t gonna be what he used to be. I think the receiver from Sask has some interesting potential tho so I think in RWJs case, there’s just gonna be a few to many talented guys that he has to beat out. I could see him being an early cut honestly or not even making it to camp. But I could see him also being what he was, the injury issues suggest he’s closer to done tho.

I think it’s just a long off season Matt and ppl be losing their minds cuz if we being honest, it’s become kind of repetitive around these parts meow. we have nothing really to talk about except signings which they have actually made quite a few of, and interesting spots, it seems they looking to improve cdn depth through free agency and so far not so bad really. I’m thinking we going non import at safety this year which means maybe we go 3 US OL which could be a good thing to do. but in February it’s all just repetitive and it’s going to be until camp begins.

Open house at daughter’s middle school for next year last night. Ppl talking about safe spaces. Same middle school I went to and no safe spaces when I was there. Now it’s all a safe space.
