Traded to Ottawa with Elgersma for Dru Brown and an OL but likely means his option is retirement. I wonder if there’s an option to become QB coach here. Zach seems like a guy who could be a coaching candidate.

People can **** on Jake but the problems on D aren’t on Jake. Jake’s skill level isn’t there but the guy busts his fat ass every play, he doesn’t win his battle often but he tries his hardest. Then you got a guy like Willie. A guy who takes several plays a game off, every game. I’m not sure what the bigger problem in the room would be. Dude trying every play or dude taking plays off every other play. Willie goes for knockdowns. You know how ridiculous that is that they allow this? How sad that is that they can’t get consistent effort from him but are seemingly ok with it ? Then ppl ***** about Jake cuz I dunno , cuz ppl rather a team of guys who only try sometimes. Willie is a guy im letting go. His attitude and work ethic are toxic to young players. Has to be. Jake is gone also tho. But not related at all. Jake is gone cuz skill don’t match the heart. Willie gone cuz heart don’t match the skill. There’s a few players on the team who fall in that heart don’t match the skill category. Sounds crazy but I’ll take a Jake who tries over a Willie who don’t. But it’s probably time to change the culture a bit more. Skill needs to match heart and heart needs to match skill. Give me a team of guys who gives a **** and play to the whistle.

It’s not tho cuz you don’t make those decisions plus the problem isn’t Jake on D. Last night our DBs got owned and our lbs couldn’t tackle. Our DL did nothing all year outside of a nothing game last week. So no Adams doesn’t make a lick of a difference, if he was this stud like ppl pretend he’d be starting not on the PR. Not about to be a free agent. Out the league. Could have been swooped the last 5 weeks but nope. The fringe player didn’t cost us any games. Our “stars” did. Brady put the ball on the ground. Willie being paid more than Jake ,did the same as Jake. I mean, I get it, I want the DL to be more impactful and aggressive also but it’s JY not RH. JYs D don’t really do that. But when you get down to it, Jake isn’t good but he tries every play. He tries his hardest. That’s more than you can say for Willie and a few others who constantly take plays off.

On O new OC and scheme would go along way new tackle guard center. (Vanterpool takes one spot there) (Bryant kola neuf are done) 1 maybe 2 receiver spots. I like pokey Demski sterns and the Canadians. We need an upgrade on Mitchell tho badly. Big time. QB 2. most the changes I see are on D. The entire DL. Kyrie Wilson. A couple DBs. Maybe it’s time to find a Canadian kicker. American kicker who only boots fgs is a poor roster spot to waste. keep. Zach (pay cut) Brady. Peterson. MCI Vanterpool Wallace Randolph. pokey. Sterns. Demski. Clercius. Cobb. Corcoran (he was the rookie) Jenkins. Jaworski. KMB Shay. Smith. Kramdi. Woodbey. Ayers. holm. Nichols( maybe, he’s getting older tho) I’m not sold on Allen but he can he brought back to compete . Sheahan can come back. Vaval and Leroux also. I’m missing a bunch of Canadians for sure cuz not like there a million that make it to FA so gotta keep some of the depth but who? Good question. Vibert and guys like that.

ALS or Ticats will beat the riders on the final. BC ain’t winning in the cold next week. No chance. No chance in hell. They barely beat Calgary who struggled mightily in the first half. And that was indoors. They ain’t winning. I also don’t see it with Montreal tho. I think Alexander is lots of hype but 1 second away from serious injury every play. Someone is gonna end him one time. He just plays with 2 much aggression. It’s not gonna end well for him.

It doesn’t matter what I think. I’m not the one making the decisions and won’t be ever. It matters what they think and he’s on the PR. Adams is American tho and Jake is Canadian so the comparison don’t work. Just cuz one guy sucks doesn’t mean the guy behind him is a stud.

Are we pretending the Jays don’t spend the same or more. This just proves that Toronto is the city of chokers. I’ve never seen more teams blow leads than a Toronto one does. Something in the air or water there. We need a west coast team to cheer for.

I don’t like Zach saying he’s hopes the core group is back and if not then he has options. I mean honestly, the core group needs to be changed, Brady can stay. Demski can stay. Pokey can stay on O. The rest? Not including Wallace Randolph vanterpool need to go. The core on D of Jake Willie Kyrie and maybe even Parker and Nichols needs to change. Sterns is a good 3 receiver. I’d keep him also and Clercius. I guess in reality, the O changes should be o line and scheme. The D? Some players need to change. we need a center. A guard. A tackle. A receiver better than Mitchell. And a new OC and prob should look at QB 2. D? That’s where the majority of change needs to be. Entire DL. Probably ideally Kyrie and Tony if we got the cdn kids. Couple DBs.

GC is a few weeks away. If they want they could make some announcements tomorrow really or Monday, this week even.

Guys not being able to tackle and the D not being able to make a stop the entire first half is definitely 1 2 3 25 6 at half isn’t on the coaches. It’s on the clowns being clowned on the field.

I think it’s likely he is back. I think fans prob don’t understand how respected O’Shea is by ppl in the league. I could see a scenario where Kyle is gone and O’Shea stays and the new gm is more than happy with O’Shea. O’Shea is here if he wants to be. I think it’s pretty obvious it’s time to move on from several vets tho. I’m also not sure Brady is worth 250k. Zach ain’t worth 600k.

They are gassed partially because they can’t tackle. Our DL did nothing in the first half also. Our D is obviously confusing to players as most look lost. There’s 1 guy making a tackle or attempting to most times. Nobody rallies to the ball.
