Capiccotti and Lawrence are "barely recognizable names"? I know our team isn't perfect or anything yet, but come on. You would be ecstatic if those two ended up in Hamilton. Really not sure what there is to argue. Saskatchewan got big names, Winnipeg got big names. Both have immensely improve over the last two days.

We just got Capiccioti, Lawrence, Chambers, Jones, Foster, as well as several other decent signings and you think we haven't gotten better? Ok. Not trying to brag, but it isn't true.

Likely the former. Sources are saying he's looking for around $200K. He probably would have signed at the right price. I'm not shocked. I wouldn't be surprised TBH if we were going after Capiciotti. The only question is whether Jones wants to pay that much to get him or not though.

Yes, they aren't great teams, but they are still teams we would have struggled against without McDavid. Get Klefbom back, and trade Schultz away, and we're good.

Yup, so many of us thought his career was over after his last injury. So glad he proved us wrong. Guy's a warrior.

Pretty sure that's just the year. Checked the Bomber website, and Dressler doesn't have a designated number set yet. Having a feeling they won't until the roster is set in stone.

I would sign Smith over Dressler, IMO. Younger, and already nearly at Dressler's level. I'm hoping Jones extends him.

I wasn't, because I had no idea they were being paid that much. I thought Dressler was only making around 200K, not 240K. I'm not even sure that any of us knew about their contracts.

Rider fans should be screaming bloody murder at Taman for the completely idiotic contracts he gave those two. That being said, they would have went elsewhere likely otherwise. They were still being overpaid, though.

Really sad to see Dressler and Chick go. Wasn't sure what I thought of it before, but it does relieve a lot of cap space. I'm hoping Dressler will go to an Eastern team, but if he goes to Winnipeg, I still wish him the best for you guys. Since somebody mentioned it, I am probably going to change my username. Part of the reason we released Dressler was likely to do with Smith. I doubt he goes elsewhere.
