Another great example is the grey cup presentation... all the players on stage collecting the trophy and celebrating... meanwhile O'Shea is just on the field looking up like a proud father. Hope they gave you some strong pain killers ... kidding aside, hope you get well soon

as per my recollection... I believe it was yesterday Well... he was probably right about that... that 2011 team was the benefit of a good defense and a weak division

I agree with you on that... it just sounds like Speed is talking about a full on change to the starters... not just different players in sub-packages

Praise for LaPo?.... surely this won't cause a stir 😁

I think the difference is some guys, like O'Shea, know when it is acceptable to be a hard ass... and when it is not... others, like Maas, think yelling all the time is only answer

I would've preferred to see one of the Jacksons back... Lucky or Blake... but maybe they weren't available... or this crazy thought... maybe the back-to-back champ coaching staff and management know more that I do... 😂

I don't really have any huge complaints about the schedule... it would be nice to have a bye right about now... but I look at it this way... if the Bombers make it to week 11 at 9-1 or even 8-2... then we're on to the home stretch with three byes and really needing to only go 5-3 or 4-4 to likely secure first place... Hopefully they make it through these next three games with a couple wins and relatively healthy... and then Bombers are laughing for the second half of the year gearing up for a three-peat.

If that's your plan... what is your proposal for adjusting the ratio?... a third starter on D?... starting a rookie rifles WR?.... another Canadian on the O-line? Based on the options... playing Brady/Johnny at RB is the best bet for the ratio.

Can you imagine if the Bombers had to play a game without Ellingson and Demski?!.... surely they would lose that...

they better hope to win labour day at IGF west... because I don't like their chances with 2 games at IGF east this year

By that time the Argos will like 5-7 and first in the east... no way they'll be sellers

Huge Congratulations to Andrew Harris... absolutely one of the best Canadians to ever play in the CFL... regardless of position As many others have mentioned... disappointing he didn't get this accomplishment in Blue and Gold... imagine how rocking the stadium would've been if he did it at a home game

I know you’re saying this tongue-in-cheekily… but if we actually did lose O’Shea after this year… the more likely replacement would probably be someone like Buck or Younger… or someone else internal

HH to Duran carter for getting absolutely dummied by Schoen on that long TD… I laughed out loud for quite a while on that one… if Jones had any sense carter would be released already… but thankfully he made pick so for everyone else’s entertainment, that’ll be good enough to keep trotting him out in the defensive backfield 🤣

The interesting part is normally when that happens you see a stat line of 200+ rushing yards… not a masterpiece but I’m happy with any win

wait a minute... Jordan Reaves is still in the CFL??? I'm no expert on this sort of stuff... so someone please correct me if I'm wrong... but doesn't it make more sense to have Bailey fill in for Ellingson at slot and Grant at WR ?

Is this a real person?? EDIT: I found him: https://emueagles.com/sports/football/roster/sidy-sow/14254

You might say it’s being handled… internally?

this holds up surprisingly well... in that it's a song called "I'm the only gay eskimo" from the early 90s... and they don't say anything horribly offensive by today's standards.

I definitely had that concern about Mike O'Shea after 2018 and going into 2019... luckily he proved me wrong... and then some

This would actually be the worst case scenario... high pointing the ball is probably about the only thing Carter would be decent at... I'd love to see him get matched up again Ellingson and get deked out of his jock strap on every route

I would argue the first one is a little too late.... the team could really use a week off right about now... but yeah not having week 1 bye or the last week is definitely a plus

this is what's known as a perfect week Important question... who are the first and second best Tyler's??

the HH pretty much has to go to Damario Houston... of course a weird play that seemed like a catch in the end zone quickly turned into an int would happen to Houston... the football gods came through for him on that one

If not for Andrew Harris, the Bombers would likely not be back-to-back champs... we could be looking at a 30+ year drought... when he agreed to come home to Winnipeg and help this perpetually losing franchise get back on track... that forever changed the fortune of the current day Bombers... I wish it didn't end the way it did... but I'll always be grateful for his contributions to the Bombers and will never have a bad word to say about him. He's probably the greatest Canadian RB to ever play the game... top 5 RB of all time (regardless of nationality) and one of the top 5 Canadians to ever play the game... So for this accomplishment, I would simply say Congratulation Andrew Harris.
