  1. He's been on the cusp of success since 2019, but every year something seems to happen to derail the Ti-Cats season.
  2. O'Shea doesn't like telling the media anything useful and Darren Cameron is doing the blocking for him by limiting questions and cutting video to suit. Other than Ed Tait's articles, they're producing minimal media content at this time, pumping out 2 interviews per practice, usually from the same 2 individuals. Time for a shake up and new blood.
  3. Steinauer probably gets until the end of this season to turn the team around, if he can't get it done he's gone in the off-season.
  4. Electroshock therapy might improve his personality.

  6. Me either, he was probably being paid minimum wage for one of the few jobs he could get to support himself. To say he should feel obligated to lay down his life attempting to take out a psycho with a machine gun with little to no professional training is a bit silly. Just because you have a gun, doesn't make you a potential hero, more likely you'll end up just another victim.
  7. If I heard his voice today, I'd instantly recognize it.
  8. "To be fair", Zach's ball placement has not always been great for Agudosi to take advantage of, when passing to the tall guy in the corner, the ball should never be underthrown.
  9. I'm not sure how I stumbled upon the following article, but jumping Jehoshaphat it's disturbing, when normal becomes disturbing, what does that say about normal? https://infotel.ca/newsitem/in-hotbed-of-firearm-freedom-a-hamburger-comes-with-a-side-of-handgun/it15295 What's new in America, though, is a political shift on guns. Even for a country renowned for its world-leading gun-ownership rates, these are particularly triumphant times for gun-rights enthusiasts. Exactly two years ago, the country was debating the possibility of national gun-control measures following the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 12, 2014. But a new poll illustrates the implausibility of that now. For the first time in more than two decades of Pew Research surveys, the organization announced this week that it found more support for gun rights than for gun control. A record 52 per cent called it more important to protect the right of Americans to own guns compared to 46 per cent who called gun control more important — adding public opinion to a gun-rights arsenal that already includes a friendly Supreme Court and an ever-friendlier Republican-dominated Congress. Shares in gun companies nearly doubled after Sandy Hook, before the recent stock-market dip. Gun sales appear up, with background checks through the FBI system doubling since the program was created in 1999. In the hope of making Texas the 45th open-carry state, advocates recently took to demonstrating with assault rifles in stores like Target. The gun battle is lost when 45 out of 50 states approve open-carry laws. Meanwhile in Dunedin Florida.... https://breaking911.com/florida-man-avoids-charges-after-firing-ar-15-at-pool-cleaner/
  10. The problem with your argument is that it ignores that in most cases churches have been set up for systematic monetary gain and have doled out systematic abuse in parallel from the power and privilege they've gained meddling with people's internal psychology. The actors may change from century to century but the wealth accumulation and the abuses have been continual attributes of these organizations from the beginning. So it goes a whole lot deeper than blaming a mountain of atrocities on a few bad apples, when every one of these apples has been raised and educated within the church.
  11. Go back and re-watch the games if you're not sure what Piggy accomplished, he made at least 2 throws that demonstrated great touch and one long pass that showed he had a very strong arm with good accuracy as well. Best yet, he wasn't just hucking the ball up for grabs or throwing it automatically to a spot like most rookie QB's, he found open receivers downfield and hit them in stride. As for his running ability it speaks for itself, the multiple tackles he broke while running the ball were on experienced football players, desperate to bring him down in their quest to land jobs.
  12. So essentially, they cut Pigrome to accommodate DB Tyrique McGhee on the PR.
  13. Yah, I don't think the Bombers actually cut MBT based on performance, it was more like releasing him to pursue another opportunity elsewhere.
  14. Schmekel and Szott should also be listed on the PR, bringing the current total up to 13. No idea what that number should be anymore.
  15. Could be true, but Piggy made more exciting plays in one quarter than Dru Brown has in two full years with the team, and even the dumbest of fans instantly recognise excitement. What are the team's real priorities? Is it winning, entertaining or selling tickets and putting butts in seats? I'm not super high on Brown, I see him as a place holder that if ever given the chance to become a starter will likely pan out well below Arbuckle. Consider Charles Roberts probably didn't look or behave much like a pro RB in practice either, O'Shea probably would have cut him too.
  16. I think it's way too early in the week to determine what we're going to see on game day.
  17. I doubt Lawler ever left Wpg. whatever issue he's dealing with immigration is probably going through his lawyer.
  18. If they clamped down on all the speculation that takes place on this forum, there wouldn't be much left. O'Shea talked for 40 minutes on the Coach's Show last night and said virtually nothing.
  19. I'm not comparing Piggy to Bryant at all, I'm trying to point out how hypocritical O'Shea is in his evaluation of personnel. He gives certain players endless opportunities to play and improve their game while others are cut loose after their first mistake, to say his evaluation process seems arbitrary would be an understatement.
  20. He talked about the possibility of returning to the CFL on the "Handled Internally Blue Bombers Podcast", last Jan. he had no idea whether he would get another shot in the NFL or not.
  21. Piggy was given a single opportunity, how can O'Shea point to that failure so harshly and yet give Stanley Bryant and a bunch of other vets free passes for all the mistakes they made last game, "cause they're great"?
  22. Yep, Strev has said he wants to play and he wants to become a starter, by the time he comes back to the CFL he won't have the patience to wait for Zach to retire like Brown seems content to do and I doubt he would accept solely being used as a 3rd down specialist anymore. He can see filling that job has no long term upside.
  23. Seeing how tight their roster management is and how hard they squeeze the PR, they'd have to make a spot for Piggy and there's no room for a 4th QB with nothing much to do. O'Shea's focus is on this season and he's not even looking down the road past November.
  24. Adams always had potential, but it took him 8 years to fulfill it. Footnote: The jury has yet to decide if he can maintain it.
  25. That's not the Ring of Honor, right?
