Bombers vs Stamps - Friday night football
Fatty Liver replied to The Zipp's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
If ratio allowed the luxury of rostering both, it would be ideal to have McCrae and Agudosi sharing a single position, that way they could both contribute their specific skill sets in specific situations. -

I wonder if Agudosi is heading for the PR and that will be the last we see of him, it's going to be even harder for him to make the roster once Lawler comes back. You're so sweet. -

Ceresna was fined the league max. for low hit on QB Tyrie Adams, so who knows. https://www.cfl.ca/2023/07/05/one-player-fined-after-week-4-action/ -

He just needed to get in the guys way, he got penalized for knocking him down which wasn't necessary. -

Apparently Schoen is ahead of last years pace for receptions, after 4 games 20/325 yds. 16.3 yds. avg. 2 TD's. -
These responses are all scripted, they're following the same playbook. ‘Whatever it takes’: Smith pledges 100 new police officers for Edmonton, Calgary https://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/province-to-announce-new-measures-addressing-transit-safety Next up, publicly funded privately operated involuntary drug treatment centres built in the Hinterlands, outta sight, outta mind. https://calgary.citynews.ca/2023/05/15/danielle-smith-ucp-mandatory-plan/

Yep, and you won't find those details on the evening news, if it's outta sight, it's outta mind. I live in the BC interior within a huge forested region, the last 5-6 summers have been misery, thick smoke rolls in and rarely dissipates until late Sept. In the decade I lived in this location prior to that, being smoked out was a rare occurrence, it's no longer a question of "if" I will be burned out, but more "when" will it be my turn to flee.

Leaders lead by example, they do their part, don't point fingers at others and take responsibility for their own actions. How do you propose Canada force other countries to decrease their emissions if we can't even get a vast segment of our own population to give up wasteful and inefficient practices, such as heating 4000 sq. ft. houses for 3-4 people which is common, or driving a F-350's to work on a daily basis, which is also fairly common. If we had a lick of intelligence, conspicuous consumption would be an embarrassment, not a goal most people in our society endlessly pursue, egged on by Mega-Corp and the idiot box. Funny, new ads for electric pickups are starting to appear, and what do they promote? People ripping the living **** out of the natural environment. **** off Bambi, time to die!

Most Canadians are not willing to make the sacrifices to lifestyle this action requires, so I guess our children will get what they deserve.

Shayne Gauthier did not finish the game in Montreal and is listed on today’s injury report as having suffered a foot injury, probably why they signed Beeksma. -

If the Argo D has a weakness it has to be their backend pass coverage, what looked like broken plays was often 3 DB's trying to cover 5 receivers. -

Mike Miller 34 and Jake 32, might be inclined to pack it in after this year, they both have careers on the go on the East Coast. -

Beeksma had 2 go arounds with the Ti-Cats, LB body type O'Shea likes on ST, 6'-2" 220 lbs, plus he was a former Gryphon. -

Like Collaros and Flutie, Kelly is good at sandlot football, he has a strong arm, accuracy and the running ability to make it work. He's less cerebral than MBT but the Argos are probably stronger with him at QB as long as he can maintain consistency, which was MBT's main drawback. -

Doesn't help that Campbell doesn't acknowledge the importance of a strong running game, Mizzell is good but he can't do it all on his own, and if he gets injured, they're sunk. -

Have to give the Argos D credit, Adams was under pressure all night long, throwing long balls in desperation is a bit of a Fajardo speciality but VA can do it too! The same D-line and LB crew beat up the Bombers in the GC, not sure the Bombers could handle it any better right now as that is a very physical team. Add Chad Kelly's ability to shred a secondary plus a solid ground game and the Argos are ranked #1 until proven otherwise. -

A dramatic increase in WFH also has the possibility of transforming cities in both good and bad ways, as office space in downtown cores becomes redundant and an unnecessary expense to carry. Cities like Calgary with tons of office towers have a real problem transforming these huge buildings into any other services. The loss of occupants effects taxation income and leads to gutted cores occupied by homeless which has been a big problem for over 50 years in American cities where many companies have built new office complexes in cheaper satellite locations on the outskirts. If N.A. would have stuck with the European model of low-rise city design and not focused all decisions on the convenience of the automobile, we'd have better cities now and wouldn't be facing the deterioration of cores along with massive logistical obstacles in the near future.

The CFL should come out with a hat line that features dangling corks.....they could also use a few more Bruces.

I think the league plans to crack down on Bighill's over the top missile shot on the QB this year, if the helmet can't be the target, he doesn't have much to aim at.
