  1. Bilukidi beat out Devon Still for the final defensive tackle spot but this doesn't mean the team will be ditching him for good. When Dennard's health improves a good chance remains Bilukidi returns to the roster next week.
  2. I have a feeling Cory Watson is going to have a big game.
  3. @PentonKirk: The #Bombers have put linebacker Rene Stephan on the six-game injured list.
  4. @SUNMitchell: Pretty sure Travis Lulay's shoulder just gave the Winnipeg Blue Bombers another life in the West Division. #CFL
  5. @TEAM1040: '@caravatta2 confirms on the post-game show that Lulay's shoulder did come out and trainers had to put it back into place.
  6. Looks like Lulay is done for the season. Wouldn't surprise me if his career is over too.
  7. Former NFL QB Max Hall loses prep job after arrest GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) - Former NFL quarterback Max Hall has lost his job as offensive coordinator at Gilbert High School after his arrest last week. A Gilbert Public School official said Friday that the 28-year-old Hall won't be returning to the school, where he was in his first season with the football team. Hall was arrested last Saturday in Gilbert on suspicion of shoplifting and possession of narcotics. Police say several stolen items from Best Buy and Walmart were found in Hall's backpack along with a "personal-use quantity of cocaine." Hall grew up in nearby Mesa and starred at BYU from 2007-09 before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals. He played in six games for the Cardinals in 2010 and was with the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2013.
  8. This Ottawa offense is UGLY.
  9. Nope not the case. Unless you mistakenly think the run stopping problems are a personnel issue and not a scheme issue. And I do. Then you're wrong. We had the same defensive tackles with Tim Burke and run stopping wasn't a huge area of concern. Henoc made like 100 tackles, helps to have a big body in the middle. And Ian Wild has 47 tackles in half a season, what exactly is your point? And Wild is a part-time LB.
  10. @DarrinBauming: Mike O'Shea on Cory Watson, who left practice early today with a trainer: "He's fine... He'll be on the roster." #Bombers
  11. The main ESPN network will be broadcasting the Banjo Bowl this weekend live. Great exposure for IGF and Winnipeg!
  12. I'm beginning to think Neufeld is not going to be the long-term solution the Bombers hoped for. He hasn't played half the games this year. Can someone provide an accurate diagnosis of what perpetually ails him? Was part of the trade condition that Neufeld won't dress vs SASK ? My guess is he will play the remainder of the year without missing any more games...If so he will have only missed the SASK games. Where on earth did you hear that? He's clearly joking.
  13. I'm beginning to think Neufeld is not going to be the long-term solution the Bombers hoped for. He hasn't played half the games this year. Can someone provide an accurate diagnosis of what perpetually ails him? He seems to have some leg issues. He's out right now with a calf injury.
  14. Bombers do partner with Co-op on 2 P5 tickets (End zone) for $60 or 4 tickets and a parking pass for $125. I believe that's about $10-15 off the regular price for those tickets.
  15. How is Matthews not a possibility and no at prying any of those guys ... why would Montreal trade Carter , Green is slightly over rated and London sucks Read the article I posted above.
  16. From Penton: The Seattle Seahawks cut loose former Bombers receiver Chris Matthews from their practice roster on Wednesday, but that doesn’t mean he’s coming back to the CFL anytime soon. The CFL’s 2012 rookie of the year will be visiting the Washington Redskins on Monday. His agent said the Redskins will likely work him out and then add him to their practice roster. “He won’t come back there (to the CFL) unless all, all avenues have been explored,” Rodney Edwards said Thursday. “It’ll be a while.” Edwards said even if Matthews doesn’t land an NFL job this season, he will wait until the end of the campaign to see if something pops up. Matthews, a 6-foot-5, 225-pounder from Long Beach, Calif., caught 81 passes for 1,192 yards and seven touchdowns for the Bombers during the 2012 season, but he managed only 14 receptions for 138 yards and one TD during an injury-plagued 2013 campaign. Even if Matthews does decide to return to the CFL, the Bombers do not own his rights. He is a CFL free agent, and there are the reports the expansion Ottawa RedBlacks are very interested in his services. Bombers general manager Kyle Walters told The Sun on the weekend that he is interested in bringing back the University of Kentucky product as well. It appears they — and the rest of the CFL — will have to wait until next season at the earliest to woo him. Matthews had three catches for 37 yards in three pre-season games for the Seahawks, who put him on their practice roster Sunday but removed him on Wednesday.
  17. Defensive end Thaddeus Gibson, who the Bombers acquired in a trade with Toronto this week, hasn’t yet joined the Bombers in Winnipeg. O’Shea explained Gibson had a trip planned for what is a bye week for the Argos this week and was told he could go ahead and take it as he wasn’t going to play this week anyway.
  18. Where did you get that? That's my grandma.
  19. @PentonKirk: No Ian Wild, Matthias Goossen, Paddy Neufeld, Mike Renaud or Nick Moore today. #Bombers
  20. Turner, Thomas and Anderson are big boys, no?
  21. @Wpg_BlueBombers: #Bombers add defensive linemen Willie Moseley and Marvin Booker to practice roster. Both internationals.
  22. HAHA, did anyone seriously compare it even? Zach Collaros said THF is better.
  23. Why do you say that?
  24. @DarrinBauming: Bryant will be in for Moore. RT @ice_matty35: @DarrinBauming Is it Romby Bryant who comes back or someone else? #Bombers
