maybe they actually got around to reviewing those games and realized they needed to actually call penalties. Or maybe the league doesn't want the Bombers in the playoffs this year for some reason.

Game definitely wasn't over when Willy got injured.

Odds and Sods - Blue Bombers at B.C Lions

Wild and Kromah are perfectly fine with me! -
Blah, blah, blah...why do you always need to prove you were right? Blah, blah, blah...it's so exhausting. Blah, blah, blah...

I don't think it was any distraction at all- if anything, the Bomber offense was comatose. With all due respect, I'm pretty sure Teague Sherman would know...or are you a member of the Bombers defense? The available evidence indicates that the defence played pretty much as they have for the past six weeks or so- trying hard and coming up short. So, no change. So you figure Teague Sherman is a liar?

This shouldn't happen. I'm surprised O'Shea let something like this become a distraction. Paul Wiecek@PaulWiecek #Bombers LB Teague Sherman admitted the whole Andrew Harris, 250 yd thing got to some guys and was a distraction for the Bombers defence.#bn

I do expect Brohm to look better with a full week of practice reps. McManus was high on him for a reason (I hope) and that's why Walters traded for him. Brohm did look sluggish when trying to run...my GF said it looked like he was "swimming" when he ran, like it was in slow motion (lol). And his release is a little slow...he seems to have a bit of a wind-up when the throws. Who knows, this could be a blessing in disguise. Getting Brohm, Marve and maybe even Portis some meaningful game reps will help us long term. I do expect Brohm to look much better next game.

What makes you think they can't do both?

It's not a 2nd round pick. It's a conditional pick; rounds 2-4 depending on games started. Penton said it was something like 6 or less games was a 4th rounder, 9ish games was a 3rd and 12 or more games started was a 2nd round pick. I'm sure the Bombers will manage Brohm's starts to ensure we give up no more than a 4th rounder.

@BobIrvingCJOB: Bombers "hopeful"willys injury is not season ending --but Brian brohm gets his long awaited chance to start, at least for a while
-
@PentonKirk: The #Bombers players in the locker-room afterwards were under the impression Willy's injury isn't too bad. We'll see.
-
Yep, the fact that he wasn't in a sling is promising.
-
Probably either a collarbone or separated shoulder. Neither is good for a QB on their throwing shoulder. Longer term, broken collarbone would be better than an separated shoulder.
-
Post any injury updates in here. CJOB is speculating it might be a collarbone injury. That's a 6 week injury, essentially the rest of the season if true. We can only hope for the best as Brohm looked terrible out there.
-
@Wpg_BlueBombers: Scratches for tonight are 66 Knapp and 4 Alexander.
-
Yep this makes me a little more comfortable with O'Shea's decision to keep Unamba in the lineup over Sears.
-
Bombers wanted one of: 1. Willy & Collaros 2. Willy & Burris I firmly believe this to be true. First scenario let the two fight it out in TC for the starting job. Second scenario, Burris starts year one, then Willy year two.

Ameet Pall School: Wofford Position: OLB Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his junior season. Senior totals included 32 tackles/8 tackles for loss/3 sacks and after he had 60/22.5/12.5 the prior year. Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 when he was named to several All-American teams. Positive: Hardworking yet undersized college defensive end who gets the most from his ability. Quick off the snap, fast off the edge and displays the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack. Plays with good pad level, keeps his feet moving and quickly regains his balance off the initial block. Displays an array of moves protecting himself, slices to the inside of blocks and consistently gets behind the line of scrimmage to make plays. Shows ability in pursuit and is fluid moving in every direction of the field. Negative: Small and easily handled at the point of attack. Rarely used in coverage or asked to make plays in space. Analysis: Pall is a hardworking defender who plays with a nonstop motor. He has size limitations yet could be used as a pass rush specialist at the next level in a three-point stance or standing up over tackle.

Exactly. This coaching staff seems to get the most out of players. Who would have expected Teague Sherman would be a starter before the season started?
-
Why is everyone so down on Ameet Pall playing this week? He's never had a real chance to play based on circumstances/situation. Personally, I'm excited to see what he can do. Who knows, he could be a keeper.

Bob Irving Interview with Henoc Muamba
gbill2004 replied to Nasty Nate's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Colts ILB Jerrell Freeman missed Colts' practice on Saturday. Freeman has yet to practice this week, and is unlikely to play against the Eagles. Josh McNary or Henoc Muamba will step in if Freeman cannot go. -
Top 10 CIS prospects for 2015 CFL draft
gbill2004 replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This is going to be an important draft for the Bombers and I have FULL confidence in Kyle Walters to make the right decisions. Goossen, Briggs and Jones were all good picks and have played meaningful roles for the Bombers this season. Their future looks bright. -
Jets get a lot more respect from the Winnipeg media.

Greaves has been back for several weeks.
