The football thing I most disliked about Kelly was his disdain for Bomber fans. You could feel his arrogance towards us and others.
He can be used to teach other HC's in 'Here's what not to do'.
A few games ago when they interviewed MOS right after the game and hearing him dedicate his admiration for JT (200 CFL games or something) I really think it brings great enjoyment for MOS seeing JT on the field continue to play the game he loves. JT is his type of player, unsung hero type. Unfortunately this blinds him from JT bring past his expiry date.
Or at the very least have them over fixate on Lawler opening it up for our other receivers to make big plays. I would for sure take both: Lawler dominating with heavy support from his receiving colleagues.
Purely from a lifelong hardcore BB fan’s perspective where there is no second favorite team, the latest years of entertainment our squad has given us in being top of league has been outstanding considering the lean years we endured. Wouldn’t replace it for anything.
To continue this entertainment crushing the watermelon heads and winning the GC would be most appreciated.
Just thought of a Winnipeg tradition we could start in this year’s playoffs if the score favours us:
The winning team gets to throw Gatorade on the losing coach. Fun for all involved.
No three man rush please and thank you, even on 2nd and long. To compare it to hockey it’s like a passive pk box allowing the offense to tee it up with little resistance other than sticks and bodies in lanes as the strategy. Hate it. Make them earn it. Run a four man front limiting the steamboats for a pure drop back passer like Harris.
Argos win but at least the Leafs lost. I’ll take it even when the Blues are in our division cuz I don’t enjoy anything that has a toronna smell.
Bring on the watermelon heads, les go.
