This is a very confusing post. After using technology to determine the right call, you just clumped the black and white calls into the grey calls. Doesn't work that way. That’s like clumping the statement orange is a better colour than red with the statement 1 +1 = 2 after verifying their accuracies.

In this case I don’t blame the field judge. It was a very quick bang bang play. But as I’ve said this is exactly why they introduced a coaching challenge into the game. But there is obviously something very amiss with what is happening in the Command Control which is baffling cuz it ain’t that complicated most times. Technology if used appropriately is a good thing.

TSN needs to work on better diversifying when marketing our great game ie use Rourke but temper it with equal focus on other players and other great aspects of the game and just drive home these messages constantly to help attract more bums in the seats and increase sponsorships so I don’t fill like killing myself after seeing the save on commercials over and over and over again. Yup it even had Forde and Nielsen a bit gobsmacked after watching the replays that it wasn’t overturned. White never secured the ball. And I understand why the field refs called it a catch but this is a perfect example of why coaching challenges were brought into the game but something is obviously amiss in cc land. Yup anyone who has had kids in sports have seen it first hand. 30 40 50 year old men/women yelling at 14 year old referees. Gross.

Yup he's not JG but I would argue he's reliable, smart heads north and south and doesn't try to get fancy. Gets us positive yards, good ball security.

I remember the 3 second rule (if there was/is actually one) ie secure the ball for three seconds after the catch it’s a catch but I could be making that memory up in my mind. lol
