I have absolutely no faith in this legal system based on their track record. History tells us this is their 'due diligence, covering all areas' but then will come out with 'results were quite inconclusive, need more information', a bit of finger wagging and a few low level arrests and back to the sideline they go. It's a joke and when I say it's a joke its not based on theory. They are our last line of defense against insanity and I'm not seeing anything that gives one confidence. I hope I'm completely wrong on this, I didn't show enough patience and missed tons of complexity in how slow they react to illegal insane behaviour.

My guess, and it's purely a guess, is money won't be his number one closure. He's going to get a boat load of money no matter the team. Level of existing talent, locker room dynamics, how much challenge he wants to take on, having a huge say/influence in changes needed, autonomy to assemble his coaching staff and how he will coach and family input will drive where he goes.

Where was this law with all the picketing and harassment of people entering and leaving medical clinic dwellings? Response: Not the same issue. Not residential. We are trying to protect people in residential communities even though none of these supreme court justices live in the state of Florida. This man is insane but hey the honor system of having people play by the rules is working fine.

Fair enough but it don’t matter to me how many teams are in a league. My loyalties have never changed and stay with one team per league. But hey different strokes for different folks. At least both of us greatly detest the Leafs.

McDavid is the best player on the planet by far regardless of Toronto’s media suggesting Matthews is in the same conversation.. A lot of us here are hardcore Jet fans built at a very young age. We don’t cheer for two teams regardless where we happened to relocate years later. It’s frustrating the Oilers were rewarded for years of losing after they dominated in the 80’s. And yes if the shoe was on the other foot I would not be apologizing to anyone if the Jets were rewarded with McDavid for sucking. But hey here we are.

Move on from hating the Oilers? Why? This line of thinking then would suggest it’s time to move on from you’re team you’ve cheered for for forty years because they haven’t won enough.
