I’m thinking some or alot of these soft core republicans present themselves as such but really aren’t. To me they are more frustrating and embarrassing than the self-identified knuckle draggers.

Freedom of speech, freedom of choice comes with consequences good, bad or indifferent you knuckle dragging self-entitled mf’rs. Using the courts to push this drivel needs harsher consequences other than just being dismissed. It needs to come with harsh financial penalty for wasting the courts time.

Will mean nothing to the American with questionable character waving their Trump flag around with pride mocking anyone who challenges them. This just emboldens them more believing he is being persecuted like Jesus parting with money they don’t have.

This picture of these two says it all. These are the types of people who say are fighting for our individual freedoms and standing up to Ottawa. These people don't represent anything good and view the world from a narrow self entitled perch taking cues from knuckle draggers to the south of us. They can spout at, froth at and mock everyone else for doing the right things for each other. Freedom of speech allows them that right. But consequences should follow but unfortunately doesn't always. They willfully ignore the balance between individual freedoms and social responsibility. And they consistently say nothing will change the way they think and do. They do not speak for us nor do they represent what the majority of us Canadians are all about. Period.

Hopefully after tonight’s festivities 25-5-2 17-1-2 are the updated number combos for bahhhhhston.

Public health crises or not, one can be socially responsible, take care of oneself, ones loved ones and complete strangers AND still not live in fear AND live life to its fullest still enjoying the many freedoms and choices we have in this great country. But muh individual freedoms don’t stop at your fears. 99 percent of people with Covid don’t die so believe what you want sheep. I’m going to live my life and make my own choices and not be told by big government what I can and cannot do. ffs

Since January 6th 2022 (and one could argue well before this time), he has not stopped inciting violence, lying, cheating, grifting, stalling the justice system on multiple fronts, breaking multiple laws and pointedly saying the election needs to be overturned and he needs to be re-instated as the President of the United States. While Merrick Garland does what sorry? And then to hear from some, sure he's bad, do Biden next. Can we just finish with him first please then we will move on to the next?! It feels literally like watching a person of influence and status over a continued long period of time repeatedly rob banks in broad daylight while the DOJ tells us no one is above the law, due process is needed and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Just when I think I've succumbed to being numb to the realization of some are in fact above the law, the feeling of anger and frustration comes in hot out of no where.

Let's use this sport analogy in a different way. Apparently Rider fans can say that the RoughRiders are the best team franchise ever in the history of sport because it's their opinion that doesn't have to be backed up with evidence because it's their opinion. Sure I think the Bombers franchise is the number 1 best franchise ever because my blood flows blue and gold but I do know I'll have a hard time backing that up with facts if I get called on it and admit that this isn't true but this is where my heart is. Just be upfront with your thought processes if your opinions don't match the facts. I think that's a reasonable expectation for us all.

Absolutely true but there are certain people (not just politicians obviously) who do more horrible things than others, who do more horrible things consistently than others and who do more horrible things than others that have a lot more negative impact on people. Some people are good people who have done horrible things and have learned from doing these horrible things. That's where I would put the masses of people that come from all walks of life. Then there are genuinely horrible people who constantly do horrible things running roughshod over anyone who get in their way with little self-awareness of the grossness of their behaviour, legal and/or illegal. This is where I would place Donald J Trump based on the mountain of information about him (illegal and non illegal behaviours) that is available to the general public that many posters here have shared here over time. I don't think most on this board have said nor implied others outside of Trump (left, right or middle of the political spectrum) are squeaky clean and don't deserve scrutiny whether they are under investigation or not. It just seems Trump is in an exclusive group of having high legal levels of grossness, corrupt and horrible behaviours mixed in with a mountain of alleged illegal behaviours. To lump others (like Biden for example) who don't fit with this exclusive group can feel like it's downplaying the severity of his actions whether it was meant to do that or not. If Biden does indeed fit into this exclusive group, then it's reasonable to back it up with comparable information we have on Trump reporting on his legal and illegal horrible behaviours.

So what you’re saying here is we need to agree with you on all of what you’re saying here when specifically talking of Donald Trump and wanting him held accountable for his illegal behaviours and if we don’t agree with you, we’re ignorant and part of the problem by only stating one side? So in essence we’re ******, he’s bad but so is everyone else and everyone needs to state that, the system is corrupt there is nothing anyone can do and stop suggesting Trump should go to jail, it’s not going to happen and it actually would be bad for all of us. Yea? Well you can live in that space all you want and believe that’s the only reality but it’s a lot more complex than you put it here so using the word ignorant is a bit misguided imo.

Knowing the Canucks had two of their highly skilled offensive guys out, I really liked the game of Capobianco. He played with confidence. He even did a spinorama move with success. I really liked his 2nd period intermission. Humble, funny and well spoken. Need more like him. Karson Kuhlman was a player out there making the case he was a good waiver pick-up.
