  1. I have no real favourites in the Superbowl, but Marshawn Lynch is such an egotistical arrogant jerk, I hope the Seahawks lose.
  2. I am still convinced that if Heenan is in the CFL, it will be in Regina. Saskabushers deify all of their homeboy athletes.
  3. Vaya con Dios, amigo.
  4. With both Heenan and Holmes off the table to all practical intents, and our desperate need for O-linemen, I can't see Walters looking past a O-line potential starter in the first round.
  5. If he could "get it" he would have been a better player.
  6. Late but better than never- shoulda happened six months ago.
  7. Chris Williams spent the past season with the Bears. He was cut in early December. Yes. But I believe Hamilton still hold his rights for a year and that will expire at Feb, correct? Chris Williams. Free agent. February. My nipples are hard. Listen Rod, this is probably not the time to reveal your secret identity. Now you've gone and ruined the mood.
  8. We should keep an eye on him- he will be back.
  9. Cohon was the best Commissioner since forever. He will be a hard act to follow, especially the George Hamilton III-mahogany type tan. awesome.
  10. They're still in the pre-foreplay deeply-gazing into each other's eyes stage. but we know where this is going.

  12. Ah, he's a dog ayways. Somebody had to say it.
  13. Maaybe there is a God after all.
  14. Shaking glands? Which glands? Mammary glands? That sly dog. Envy will get you nowhere.
  15. I hear you, but Watson was on the field so infrequently that it isn't the jolt it would have been.
  16. An intriguing thought, but there is no freaking way Heenan is leaving Regina. How often do you get a hometown athlete who is dominant?
  17. I continue to be impressed by Walters. It seems every move is part of a larger plan and trading an aging, injury-prone player (even though he played with heart) for a younger player plus bonuses is a very smart move.
  18. Rod Black is likely parked outside Giguere's home with binoculars as usual.
  19. If Walters can sign Oramasionwu and Wojt, I would consider that a coup, and it ought to be doable.
  20. Well, we know which hard school he went to,,,,,,
  21. Ackie looks very interesting, At 6'1" and 210 he is still fast enough to play DB with room to put on a few more pounds. His tackling looks to need a bit of work, but he is not afraid to hit. He ought to make a helluva free safety or even an outside linebacker with some seasoning.
  22. Except our scouts didn't find any last year and we used Romby Bryant and Aaron Kelly in the position last year. Receivers should be easy to find but we haven't seen the ability from this scouting staff to find them yet. Walters has to be lighting a fire under our scouts this year- they have not covered themselves with glory this past year and I expected better from McManus and company. If Kelly can stay healthy, Denmark has another year like the one just past in spite of the quarterback problems, and Kohlert gets a bit better, we should be able to find or draft a good Canuck for the last spot. Problem solved.
  23. I really don't see the need to chase import receivers- they are relatively easy for scouts to find and Denmark and whats-his-name (if he can stay off the D/L) are pretty good and we have at least one CFL-quality receiver now. As far as O-linemen are concerned, it all comes down to Neufeld, and Walters has to know by now whether he's healed enough to be a fixture on the line or not. Or if he will simply be good enough to be a starter.
  24. What happened to MLBs being labelled MIKE?... unless he's referring to a Joe Mack-style LB? I've heard various acronyms for an MLB, but Walters referred to it as a Mack linebacker. If he was a true Mack linebacker, he would spend all his time in the US and we would never see him.
  25. This is win-win. If he makes it in the NFL, good PR for us, if not, and we've treated him well, he will come back and feel more at home. In any case, good on him.
