Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Isn't that what Facebook and Twitter are for?

You could well be correct, and we will not know if Loffler can adapt his game until the bullets fly again, but there were too many times when the opposing receiver was unaccounted for and free to run where he chose.

Maybe, but to me it looked like the soft zone and man coverages were largely to blame.

I am not so sure. We've been through two very similar seasons in a row where the team did ok during the regular season only to be let down by the defence in the first round of the playoffs. Next year has to be different.

That would stop the runs up the middle and the 5-8 yard passes but the problem of the explosive 20-30 pass completions remains,

I suspect that the more probable scenario might be that if Hall is returned and the team defence continues to give up the big plays, Hall and maybe even O'Shea will be gone by Labour Day, replaced by God knows who.

I suspect that the longer it takes for us to hear of Hall's fate, the more likely it is that he is being retained. Sad.

I would like to believe that O'Shea is not so rigid in his thinking that he is willing to tie his fate to Hall's and go down with him, but he wouldn't be the first smart coach to make dumb decisions.

My first reaction would not have been allowed in this forum. We can learn to live without Bond, but I do not believe we can live with Hall. If Dougie is correct (and his batting average is pretty good), we have another year of misery to look forward to. Sorry, that should have read "to dread". Fornication.

Oh boy, and right in the middle of a cold snap in Regina. The insurance policy holder is going to freak.

There are those who maintain that there is always a purpose to drinking gin or Baby Duck, for that matter.

Best Wishes to All
To all and sundry here and otherwhere, in the spirit of the season, my best wishes. May this time of the year and the time to come be filled with peace and the presence of those you love.

Despite the horrible year he had in Montreal, I doubt that any QB would have done much better. I suspect Durant still has tread on his tires and is probably better than anyone we currently have as backup. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in blue and gold- for the right price.

Bellefeuille to Montreal?
If he's been working with squalling, immature individuals, he ought to have the right experience to step into the Alouette organiation.

CFL Draft 2018
I have enough confidence in Walters and his scouting system that I am not going to waste any time over it. Still, Wolitarsky had better become a good player, otherwise people could say he "Drew a blank" there.

solving a QB
There are two types of intelligence- static and fluid. Someone with static intelligence can do quite well in unchanging, predictable situations but those with fluid intelligence are adaptable and able to cope with dynamic situations- they usually like it. The hard part is finding people with the fluid intelligence and the physical skills.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
A fool and his money etc... he may also need that money to settle lawsuits.

I wouldn't mention it either if I was him.

If a lingerie football league can't make it, what hope is there, really? Its the inevitable decline of western civilization.

Most good deeds go unnoticed and unrewarded. Heck, a few days ago I was in the lineup at Superstore behind an older lady who came up short and unable to pay the $180.00 for her order. So, I stepped up and helped her put all that stuff back.
