  1. And we've known this since July.
  2. Well. what else do we need?
  3. That would take all the fun out of it.
  4. Knight seems to be well suited for the CFL and definitely has the fire in the belly. Runs like a deer, but I could not find any definitive statements about his arm strength. Maybe next year we will get a chance to see him in action.
  5. Understandable.
  6. I had the same thought when Willy was release-traded. It was one of the first hints that we had that O'Shea's stubbornness would be a detriment. It also occurs to me that if Walters did this, it would been dumb on his part to extend O'Shea.
  7. All of these changes have to make a difficult task (beating the Stamps) a lot harder. Don't know what to think of this- desperation or wise repositioning?
  8. In a presser yesterday, O'Shea was even more cryptic than usual and said that he would not be giving out any info on the starting lineup at all. I am certain that Dickenson and the Stamps are in full panic mode now as a result.
  9. If nothing else, it looks like the weather will be decent for the last home game of the season.
  10. And for good reason.
  11. Or is exposed to a strong gust of wind.
  12. Considering how little Wolitarsky has been used, particularly in the last half of the season, who would even know if he was absent? A talented, physical receiver who has been ignored and wasted. He ought to have been as prominent as Wieneke for the Als.
  13. We all need aspirations.
  14. Don't think that will change much. Harris pretty much tanked the whole season anyways.
  15. If "any team" is the RedBlacks or Argos, then, yes.
  16. Or become apoplectic.
  17. Agree, for the most part, but the lack of respect for our DBs that was shown by going for (and completing) those 2-points conversions was symptomatic of the whole damned defensive performance. I think in only one of those plays was the Bomber defender close enough to break up the play. Pathetic.
  18. Things have gotten to the point where criticizing the coaching is like shooting fish in a barrel and beating a dead horse.
  19. If memory serves, when the ball is launched, all the DBs who are not targeted and can see the toss are supposed to be calling "ball ball ball" to alert any DBs who are not watching the QB to look out. It didn't seem to have happened in this instance at least.
  20. Hindsight is always perfect, but it was a risk, hiring a rookie head coach and a rookie GM at the same time.
  21. FWIW: Over at 3downation, John Hodge dumped all over O'Shea for not only leaving an obviously injured Streveler in the game but also for some strange coaching decisions during yesterday's game, echoing what almost all of us here have said. I suspect that O'Shea is now quietly checking out U-Haul rates.
  22. Same sort of game plan by the usual culprit.
  23. Bighill was very very good last year. This year- not so much.
  24. The problem with your proposal is that very few Stamps receivers were tackled as soon as the ball arrived.
  25. Disagree. The Bombers are not going to take the next step without some major changes. Hope is not an actionable plan.
