Clearly doesn't matter what jersey they wear... for them to win I'm the one that needs to wear the right combination of Bomber sweaters during the week and on game day.  It's worked so far this playoff run.

100% agree. Last week, I had so much anxiety about the thought of allowing those Riders assholes to win, I was a bag of smashed assholes about it...couldn't even enjoy game day 'cause I was such a mess thinking about it. This week...much better. I have no ill will toward Hamilton, and in any other circumstance, I'd probably be cheering for them. However, they can all go **** themselves this week...I want that ring.

I will question his catching ability all day, but I will never question his blocking. Darvin Adams is a beast blocking...

    Duly noted:
A fact worth noting here: two previous longest Grey Cup droughts in Bomber’s history were ended with victories over the Ticats. The club ended a 17 year drought in 1958 with a 35-28 win over the Ticats and the 1984 victory over Hamilton ended a 22 year absence.

Adams has been a drive killer as often as he's caught the exciting deep ball.....he's the very definition of inconsistent. I've thought a lot that we might be seeing the last of him in Blue and Gold....

that's a lot of drops for a guy at this level. I feel like i'm taking crazy pills. Receivers jobs are to catch the ball! I mean **** saskatchewan was catching knocked down passes! That's the kind of effort you need from receivers. Catch the catchable ones and a few of the uncatchable ones. That's what true #1 receivers do.

    Low bar.
Adams has killed several drives dropping passes in the playoffs. Yes we can celebrate his big plays, but the guy is inconsistent and I have said for a while if he's your best receiver you need help at the position. He'd be a great #3 option at receiver though.

I agree that Fajardo was across the LOS and that the goalpost didn't take a TD away this time.

Regardless of the goal post or not..Taylor was in Moore's hip pocket and was gonna jump that route anyway...Moore was standing waiting for the ball...the DB was in motion about to cut it...they can lament all they want about the goalpost but that pass would have been broken up if not picked

Didn't have a lot of hope going into the game in 2007, but I was there in person and we were in it just enough to get my hopes up. Depressing as hell flight home.

2011 I never expected to win...I didn't have a lot of hope for that one. 2007, as well, I believed we COULD win, but with Dinwiddie in for Glenn and making his first ever start...I didn't have a ton of hope. 2001 tho....that was real real bad. That one destroyed something inside of me that has never fully healed.

Nichols is a good QB..cerebral and efficient but not other wordly. On a good team with a nice compliment of weapons he is excellent and a guy who will win you more than you lose, but he is what he is...won't become anything more now and isn't a guy who will consistently out a team on his back and carry/will/inspire them to win by himself. He may make the odd spectacular play but it will be rare and it's not in his DNA
Strev is a different beast at this time...smart and young/inexperienced and learning the game...He is fire and determination and a outright beast who can..and has taken a game in his hands and just powered his way to succeed at any cost, its more so one dimensional to this point, but is leaps and bounds better than when he first got here...he can and has done he spectacular and sticking with him over the longterm will do it over and over and he WILL start doing it in the air...for all the detractors out there he is not just a runner....he's just been more of a runner while here than a passer, and thats due to his limited experience as a starting qb at any level.
The special thing with Strev is the team already has his respect and see's his commitment to the team and what he will do...and they will go through a wall for him, on both sides of the ball because they see him doing it on every play..and that is huge..he has that unique ability to raise the level of play of everyone..defense included and players have already said as much.

Collaros throws have more zip on them. He throws a better medium and a better deep ball. He's way more mobile than Nichols. There's no way Nichols even throws the ball to Adams in the last season game, let alone gets it there accurately. Collaros doesn't rely on the Harris dump pass anywhere near as often as Nichols does which makes defences have to cover everyone. Collaros did it against Calgary twice, one of which was a playoff game. Nichols mostly played against the bottom 3 teams in the league.
Stats aren't going to tell the story because both QB's played in the PLAP offence.

Disagree. The way Grant was brought down was the exact situation the rule is meant to address. Shouldn't matter that the defender got his hand over the shoulder to the front if all of the force is pulling the player directly down. Immediately thought that Grant may have blown his knee out.

Not sure I've seen it called more liberally now. Seems to only be called if the player is brought down by the collar (even when pulled forward, which shouldn't be a horse collar at all). Granted I don't watch every game, so could definitely have missed some other calls.
