there's no such thing as a boring Bombers game, but pre-season games are always better on the radio. Irving has been following the team through TC and knows all the players. TSN has no clue about any of the newbies, so they're worse than useless...

Agreed, the pacing over the last couple seasons has not been very good.  The series on the whole hasn't been as good once they ran out of book material to use. 
Cersei was definitely underused and deserved a far better (more personal?) death than getting buried under rubble.  The bad guys (Joffrey/Ramsey) finally getting what they deserved were highlights of the series and it didn't feel anything close to that with her. 
It did look like there was some wildfire explosions happening though as there were some green flames appearing sporadically as Dany lit up King's Landing.

She didn't even hint, at certain points, she flat out said she was capable of doing this.
If you re-watch the episode where her band of stragglers finally makes it to Qarth, she gives a quote that shows her mindset and how she sees things.  It makes sense when you pair the quote with her seeing the Red Keep:
"Thirteen, when my dragons are grown, we will take back what was stolen from me and destroy those who have wronged me! We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground! Turn us away, and we will burn you first."

Super cool redo of the very first Star Wars lightsaber duel.  Really captures Vader's rage and Obi-Wan's desperate exhaustion.
 

Yup, always considered myself a bit of a centralist  - until spending some time on a couple of alt-right boards.   At that point - took a closer look in the mirror, and realized that I actually was a pinko Canadian commie ISIS porn star snowflake.
This revelation came as quite a shock, believe me....

Anyway, enough trolling out of me, I thought TLJ was weird and decent but I can understand how it might frustrate people who want different things from Star Wars than I do.
The thing I am stoked for now is The Mandalorian.  The cast looks great: Pedro Pascal (the Red Viper from GOT) in the lead role, with Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring from Breaking Bad) and Werner Herzog as an old Imperial slimebag.

Every review and what I recall from the show itself said 30-31 century.  But they did say it wasn't certain.

I think they seriously underestimated how good Anson Mount was going to be as Pike (which is silly since any of us that watched Hell on Wheels already knew Anson Mount was awesome).  He along with a few others made this season enjoyable, but I really had a hard time understanding the overall plot of the season.  It got very convoluted towards the end.  I am curious and will watch season 3 in the 31st century.  But these first two seasons felt more like Trek nostalgia with a modern twist (updated weird looking Klingons! Terrans!, Spock!  Section 31! The Enterprise! Number One! etc etc) than telling a proper story arc leading to the huge time jump (and series shift) for season 3.  And the the whole "lie about the fate of Discovery to Starfleet and forget about them " angle felt like a cheap ploy to the fanboys complaining how ST Disco didn't fit in the known Star Trek universe. There ya go!  That's why Spock never mentions Burnham to Kirk or why no one tried a spore drive to rescue Voyager from the Delta quadrant!  They just all kept their mouths shut!  Ok then.
Like I said I enjoyed the season for the most part.  Amazing effects and great acting kept me in it and will bring me back.  Hopefully now that they aren't chained to previous existing Trek lore they can truly tell their own story next season.

First half or so was good. It feels like the story got away from the writers.  They asked for an extra episode because they couldn’t finish it in time. Luckily for them cbs agreed. 
Show looks great. Very well acted.  Writing has been underwhelming. 

it's not about Hillary losing, it's about the criminality of Trump. It's about holding the elite and politicians to account for their actions. 
Especially as a Canadian I don't really give a **** who wins an election in the states, their system is bullshit anyway when a choice between 2 people can have the person who receives less votes win the presidency anyway, but this is all about seeing justice done. 
The Democrats lost the election themselves choosing Hillary as their nominee despite how utterly un-electable she was as president. She might have been qualified and a popular choice withing the party, but the general public was not going to pick her. Her image was just so poor. 
However that doesn't change the fact that Trump is a wannabe mob boss who is compromised and committed crimes and needs to be held accountable. 
I question Democrats are going to do the right thing here for political reasons, and we know the GOP will put party over anything else and protect Trump, but the Democrats in congress need to impeach Trump just so that no one else is allowed to get away with it. Next time it might not be a bumbling buffoon like Trump. 

Well to be fair even with the jets playing poorly they beat the Blues if not for their goalie. 
I think what we’re all upset about is not a lack of talent. But last nights game is very telling of the leadership and mental strength and coaching. All three flunked. 
I don’t really care they the jets have only three picks this year. That was the price of trying to compete and we can afford it. 
Lots of talent. Still deep. Just need to exchange a few parts.

I know it seems harsh. We have a good team.  It you can’t squander the talent we have with crap like this.

But you have to. You really do.  In a market like this you can’t say this is okay. Maurice (and the rest of the staff) have to go. Chipman has to eat the salaries
