Im not a fan of either Brohm or Willy. I still think Marve is our best QB.

Im sure injuries played a big part of Willys ineffectiveness in the last 60~% of the season. How he rebounds will really dictate how competitive this team can be in the next couple of years.

I would suggest after week 5 or 6 he looked very mediocre. Saying he only struggled in a couple of games is a wildly generous statement.

I don't have a huge issue with this deal, even not liking Willy that much. It's not guaranteed in the next 2 years, so if Willy continues to be mediocre we can let him go. If he plays again like he did first 5 games of last season, then great we have our franchise QB. It's low risk and high rewards. Good deal. As far as Willy goes himself... I'm not sold on him. You can't teach someone to be a good decision maker under pressure. That's a natural gift like speed and size. We have a small sample size on him, though, so hopefully he will turn it around and be a lot better next year.

I'll always be a Jets guy 1st and foremost. I love that team as if they're waging a holy war and I'm a zealot. But I also love the Bombers. My enthusiasm for the Big Blue has faded a lot over the last 2 decades of boobery and poor management. I really hope that's in the process of turning around... because its fun to see the crowd get amped up like crazy when were doing really well

So it's nearly football time again, and with the Jets now gone from the post season my attention has shifted back to the Bombers and the CFL. How was our off season? I noticed we signed a lot of help on offence, specifically our line. Is there a sense around the league of a shift in power in the West, or, are we still looking to a Calgary #1, with everyone else scrambling? Any update on our backup qb situation? Is Marve still unsigned? Even around? Thanks for any updates.

Peoples over evaluation of Willy is as comical as people wanting marve to start over him. Willy needs to be given more time next season. He also needs to make better decisions. His interception throwing is very concerning, but these are issues that time and experience may solve.

Our Bombers are now 2 games away from losing the entire second half of a season. Have we ever done this before? Even with 16 game schedule included. There's zero chance we win in Calgary so our only hope to salvage some iota of pride would be vs bc next week. Improved my ass.

It's crazy how excited I was for the game yesterday. And how 'meh' I am to go to tonights Bomber game. This team is and franchise is more disappointing than anything I can humorously drum up. I guess I'm excited to see the new stadium, but even if the Bombers stun the Stampeders it's not like were making the playoffs. I'm more excited to go to Alycias Ukrainian deli, in other words.

What do you define as losing interest? If it means you watch the games still and go out to the stadium, but don't care what happens, then sure, I've lost interest. If it means you tune out and dont watch the games then no, I haven't. I can't imagine how anyone who's a Bomber fan could care about this team anymore this season. I mean get really emotionally invested. They've checked out, how can you stay totally checked in? When I go to the game next week vs Calgary I'll be there to enjoy the new stadium and being around all my fellow Bomber fans, but win or lose it makes no difference. Will I be happier with a win? Of course. Does it matter? No. My hero. /sarcasm.

this team is a massive improvement from last year. lol anyways, on a more serious notes. MOS looks way over his head. we have a bad offensive line. our coordinators on both sides of the ball are routinely being out coached. bring your brooms fellas, cuz its a mess.

They could lose every remaining game and it would still be a huge improvement from last year, I think you are forgetting just how bad they were last year. Out of the game before the first quarter was done more nights than not, at least this time when they're getting beaten it's after a close game. I just don't subscribe to this logic. I think it matters where the losses and wins happen. If we had started off this bad, and recently won 5 of 6 I could agree. But were regressing so sharply that has to be taken into account. If we lose every game remaining in the season, including to a terrible Ottawa team, this team is in deep trouble next season. Wins in July and August mean nothing if the team completely falls apart. I just don't get how that's not understood,.

god i hope we win. im really getting tired of losing. if we do lose tonight i wonder if people will still keep insisting we've made such big improvements from last year.,
