Nichols throws for 10 short of 400 and yet I knew the offense would be in certain posters cross hairs We lost because our defense couldn't stop a peewee team in the 2nd half. It was actually embarrassing to watch. MOS's stupid decision, as stupid as it was, doesn't mean we gave up on a sure thing on 3rd and 4. No, this game is SQUARELY on our lousy pass rush and coverage. If we aren't turning the ball over we're letting teams steam roll us for hundreds of yards. That's not a recipe for success.

Just to recap: I asked why not show some love to Nichols who had a good game. You scoffed at it saying that he only did well in what I consider garbage time, specifically, 3rd and 4th quarter I clarified that my definition of garbage time is late game when the games out of reach. This is the definition I've posted here before. Tonights game didn't have garbage time until the very very end, when we began running the ball a lot more. You then decided to change the debate to if the entire game was garbage time and then brought up the OL and asked why I keep pumping up Nichols. I mean, I can't force you to stay on topic, and admit when you're wrong, but I feel like we'd maybe get somewhere if you did.

If the whole game was trash time then why are you even anointing anyone with any recognition. And you said specifically the late 3rd and 4th quarter. Now it's the whole game because . . . Reasons? I wish people online would just admit when they're wrong and move on. Good gravy .

cant help but feel like a cross over is the easier path to the grey cup. but if we lose to ottawa twice in a row we could be falling into a spiral of loserness. unsure whats the best thing. if we win, im def cheering for a BC loss.

Don't bother with him. Honestly, his mind is made up with Nichols. I have no idea why he hates our starter so much, all Nichols has done is win for us. Another game with no INT's, 2 touchdowns (+1 receiving) and our offense put up 37 points. Clearly he was a huge part of the win.

Where was all the uproar last week when Edmonton was given a phantom PI and put on the 1 yard line? Or when our TD on a punt return was taken off the board for a block on the shoulder that was called a block to the back? These things even out. It was a fumble and we got one, not only was it one call vs several against Edmonton, BC had the majority of bad calls in just that game. Look at the 1st call of the game, the BC obvious pass interference/illegal contact that was missed and could have lead to a BC score. Obvious miss, and the challenge (as much as I hate that mechanism) fixed it. The league has a serious crisis of reffing but at least the Bombers weren't jobbed again.

Drew has been getting starts in the CFL since 2014. He's 30 in a month. I think we can safely draw conclusions. Your post about Milanovich being a better at observing QB talent has literally nothing to do with Willy or facts. Lets not forget Toronto chose an aging Ray or Trevor Harris and Zach Collaros. Now they've overpaid for a mediocre Willy. Real expertise there.

This is such a canard. Just because another GM has made a mistake on Willy doesn't some how give him real value. He's been the same garbage in Toronto for the first 1.5 games there, and there's no reason to think that will get better.

I'd hold off on the MOS extension now until post season. If the Bombers stumble into the playoffs and are a one and done team, then I'd really be hesitant to bring him back. Walters I think has certainly earned his stay for a couple more years at least. But if this team just goes right back into the crapper after a long winning streak that's not saying a lot about this teams culture in the locker room and the standards they believe to be working under. Lot's of football left. Win back to back against BC and the losses to the Alberta teams will quickly be forgotten. Be swept by BC and we may be looking at crossing over. Shits getting real.
