  1. this is interesting. might be tough to explain. https://www.burr.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/SSCI ICA ASSESSMENT_FINALJULY3.pdf That's the Republican controlled intelligence committee. .
  2. Masoli holds the CFL record for consecutive completions. 2016.... Look what he did with the team that collaros went 0 and 8 with. The idea that Masoli is not good dies hard.
  3. Why do you say that? also, I don't think Ed Hervey will be hiring Chris Jones http://edmontonjournal.com/sports/football/cfl/edmonton-eskimos/all-or-nothing-the-untold-story-behind-the-exit-of-chris-jones-staff
  4. Based on what I read there lately, I think the tide has turned at riderfans as far as Chris Jones is concerned.
  5. Hamilton in Calgary less than one year ago. 6 Sat, July 29 9:30 p.m. EDT at Calgary Stampeders L 1–60 0–5 TSN McMahon Stadium 25,492
  6. 2018 after three games defence 6th points against 7th yards against.
  7. ..... they were under a misapprehension that the defence would be better. It annoys me, that the rookie qb did well enough in the rain game, to win, and again the defence let the game slip away. pretty tired of that. My question is, (for the people that think the defence has been bad this season, as I do, ) will the defence improve, stay the same, or get worse? Will the Bombers still be 8th or 9th in yards allowed? I think it could do better, but I don't think it will. another question, what do the D players think of R Hall and his coaching?
  8. I suspect that playing for Chris Jones is about the worst thing that could have happened to Duron. The decision to keep him playing on defence might be the oddest thing I've seen in the CFL. I predict Duron won't be playing football in the CFL next season. He probably doesn't need the money to play in the FCFL, so good on him for doing that. I hope he can come round. I don' think he's a bad person at all. just a bit overwraught.
  9. A 26 year old man, 28 year old woman and three kids, ages 6, 4 and 2 from the same immediate family near the Rosetown area were killed immediately after the SUV they were in was hit head-on by another SUV carrying a 71 year old Swift Current woman. The accident happened around 4:30 on Highway 4. Names of the dead will not be made public by the Mounties. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Elrose is about 115 kilometers north of Swift Current. ckrm radio.
  10. defence held hamilton well in the first half. (watched it just now) the ole bend don't break stopped masoli at about the bomber ten in the last few seconds. few utter breakdowns in coverage. guys running free. Hamilton Offence looked well prepared for whatever the Bomber D had. Did not really notice any plays by A Bighill, although I'm sure he made some. and he got blocked out and kind of went the wrong way on ham first rushing TD. Don't know if he's done as much as we all expected, so far. Masoli is really playing well. they got some pressure on him, but even under pressure his passes around ten yards are extremely accurate. sideline passes, it looks like they are throwing to a spot, receivers are at the spot, and he gets the ball right there. He looks much better than Bo. I think Ham. O line is pretty good. better than ours, which I don't think is as good as last year.... Streveler didn't have much time. one play stood out left tackle got shoved right back into the steveler. had three ham guys chasing him right after he got the ball. Hamilton sure looks like the top team right now. Guess we'll find out more when Nichols is back. couldn't be bothered to watch the second half.
  11. You can change the head coach half way through the season, and have good results. Hamilton just did that last season. It worked. and how do you take a player like Adam Bighill, and make him look ordinary? That's not easy.
  12. I saw this. Why is this happening? surrounded by bomber defenders nobody close enough to make a play. and then sometimes tackling air. pathetic. I agree, it's not just R Hall. What's his boss doing while this mess is transpiring? Why would the head coach allow the same defence, (that even I could see didn't work) continue to be deployed? Hard to fathom.
  13. same old story there. I expect that there's going to be some strong pressure from above concerning the defence.
  14. CFL stats Bombers defence rank 2014 /2018, since O'Shea became head coach. Points / yards 2014 9th / 9th 2015 8th / 8th 2016 3d / 9th 2017 5th / 8th 2018 4th / 4 th Please correct if I'm getting this wrong. got it from http://cflstats.ca/team/WPG I guess 2016 was the year of the d big plays. Overall..... not impressive. four complete seasons and three games of the fifth has shown little to no improvement. Ed Tait's 2017 post season article about the defence is good https://www.bluebombers.com/2017/12/27/year-review-5-defence-microscope/
  15. yeah you hear versions of that all the time now on the radio. Not sure why, it adds nothing.
  16. They've changed a lot of players, and a lot of coaches on defence over the last four years. Doesn't seem to matter what they do, the defence is not very good. Brought in Adam Bighill. Defence is still not very good. I doubt that changing Loffler would make much difference. Something else would screw up. Watching Hamilton throw the same plays over and over and over again, and nothing done to stop it, is bad. Pretty easy win for Hamilton.
  17. what's the counter to that? (I don't know what three pressure is.) My hope ....third game as a starter, Bighill fully emerges, and wreaks havoc all over the field. I think we'll see this. I don't think Bighill will settle for less. He just seems like that kind of player.
  18. CFL media poll May 27 Which team will win the West Division? (73 votes) 32% Calgary Stampeders (23 votes) 30% Edmonton Eskimos (22 votes) 29% Saskatchewan Roughriders (21 votes) 7% Winnipeg Blue Bombers (5 votes) 3% BC Lions (2 votes) “The Riders improved on their weaknesses in the off-season and with Zach Collaros and Brandon Bridge, should get more consistent play at QB. They could be scary good.” “Saskatchewan will finish first in the division but enter way too confident and inexperienced. The veteran Stampeders will ‘upset’ them in the Western Final and finally finish the deal with a younger, more motivated group.” 😂
  19. Harris has an injured leg doesn't he? That probably affects his throwing. specially the long passes.
  20. Calgary was not good against the run in this game.
  21. even dunnigan can't make this interesting.
  22. Japanese football league actually looks pretty exciting based on that video.
