Some people are quite creative when it comes to thinking of excuses for the shortcomings of the Bombers under O'Shea. For them it's just never Mike that's at fault. One team problem, is the really large swings in overall team performance, O and D. Special teams is very consistent. Offence can be great one week, awful the next. Same with the Defence. Sometimes at the same time. sometimes not. A good team will win some lose some but contending teams don't swing wildly like this. How did Ottawa /Calgary pulverize the Bombers? I think some individual records were set against us. Three players of the week, on one of the opponents. Losing to Ottawa/Calgary is one thing. Getting utterly demolished is another. Not a clue why that is, and it's not cause the team is crappy.

I agree with you. It seems you have become the go to poster for being on the receiving end of put downs. Not sure why. But it happens. Started with one person, now spreading. If you were rude to other posters, I could see it, but you are not as far as I know. If not knowing much is the reason, I guess I should stop posting. If it's a perception of being negative (don't see it myself) there's no shortage of that around here. There's been some school yard bully boy stuff in the past, seems to be back. not for long I hope. No idea what will happen in this game, I think Sask D will show up, who knows about Collaros, and who knows about the Bomber D. could look great, could look ordinary, could look awful. My prediction, if Nichols can't move the O, and throws picks, they'll put in Streveler. Don't know how long for, or what'll happen, if Streveler is in and the O does well. could leave him in, could give him the hook and put Matt back in. It's a puzzler.

Nobody has any idea what Matt says to his teammates. he should just stay away from the microphone for a few games. I have heard him say after a bad game " I have to be better" tempest in a teapot. Thanks TSN. I thought Montgomery would make the team, he was destroying the other team, in his chance in preseason. maybe he's not interested now.

I had a friend I took a physics course with. after an exam, I told him I thought it was really tough test. He proclaimed that he aced it. I ended up getting something like 51, he got, I kid you not, 11 out of 100. One of the funniest things ever, his face, looking at the results. 😂 If he's a bomber fan, he probably figures we're on the cusp of greatness lol. ( also,is 42 % in maths bad?)

Mike said in Jan 2018 that he was taking a more active role. So that apparently is not the answer. luckily for him, nobody was paying attention when he said that. used up my quota of snarky comments for today, so will just be reading now.

I don't like asking for someone to be fired. Anyway, I'm skeptical that firing Hall would make much difference. But if Hall is going to be let go, I would like it to be now, so that O'Shea does not have that excuse card to play at the end of the season, justifying O'Shea hanging on for another year or two.

Jan 5 2018. My point: If People dont like the defence, it's not all on Richie Hall. O'Shea has to be given some responsiblility for the state of the defence based on what he said on Jan 5 2018. Probably also makes decisions during the game about the D as well.

Know what you mean. almost every other team is getting better right now. Bombers fall off the cliff.

That's the great thing about football games, you can always pull out some stats that prove that you easily could have won, you were in till blah blah happened, if only blah blah blah.. but no question have to play better, blah. tired of that. Mike basically blamed the players for this one. wagons being circled I guess.

just watched the "highlights" lol, on youtube. debating which side of the ball lost the game is like choosing between dog poo and cat poo for lunch. Nichols brohmed one pass. threw 2 int directly to guys on the other team. On the one the lineman picked off, there were two other receivers that look open. That he seems to look towards, and then go to Harris. The pass to Adams was clearly underthrown, Adams had two guys beat, had to slow down, they both caught up to him, and both defenders swatted the ball is it came to him. Not likely anybody could make that catch. blaming him for that is really bad if Nichols did so. Going to have some apologizing to do. Not the biggest fan of Bo Levi, but when he has players open, usually he can hit them. sad to say, it looks like the pass defence is once again a complete shambles. four guys covering one receiver, three guys surrounding a receiver with the ball, yet all three unable to tackle him (shades of defences past), defenders running away from a receiver, leaving him uncovered, defenders in trail position. Assuming these coaches know what they're doing, their not explaining it very well to their players. We've had dozens of pass defenders through here. same result every season. I suspect that the guys that we have that have been really good, best days are behind them, wasted on bullshit defensive teams. just an ugly mess. I'm surprised Calgary didn't score more points. Cause there was basically nothing stopping them. Two beat downs in a row. Right now, this team is awful. At least with Streveler, there is a chance he'll run, and they have to respect that. As it is, the Wpg offence is actually probably pretty easy to draw a D game plan for. Not putting in Streveler is mystifying.
