I saw your post telling CalgaryRiderFan to quit being so cranky and something about his mom's basement. It was a pretty benign post that's made there about a thousand times a day. However, CRF is the owner of the site over there and is pretty thin skinned when anyone "disrespects" him. His mods are ultra protective of him too, because CRF allows them to run roughshod over his forum. CRF doesn't even realize how badly he's being used. It's too bad because Riderfans, if run correctly, had the traffic to drive discussion and had his mods and CRF not been so narrow minded they could have picked up a ton of traffic from around the league's fan base. The moderation just went completely off the deep end a couple years ago when the Riders winning fell off the rails. Now the place is a **** show.

To my knowledge, Morley is not a reporter. Just a guy who tweets.

Perma-banned. Was a cesspool of stupidity the last year anyway.

I'm confused....Rider Stronson told anyone who would listen last year that his connections in the Riders organization were more reliable than Dunk's reporting and that Henoc was only making 150k last year and that the 70k bonuses were included in and not on top of the 150k reported salary. He then went on about a 10 forum page rant on anyone who questioned him about this, and then starting banning people for being trolls for questioning the reliability of his information and about how Chris Jones was able to sign him for well under market value because Muamba wanted to play for him. Yesterday, we learned that Dunk was correct, and one of the first people out of the gate was Stronson saying that 220k was way too high for Henoc and that Jones is brilliant to release him. Hilarious stuff over there at Riderfans......lmao

Makes sense for the Als. I never thought that Westerman was a merc but I guess I was wrong.

The "fear" Mr. Evans is because players tend to fall into the local habit of not brushing their teeth once they get to Regina. It's like a wave that hits you when you are across the line from them. In fairness, you do have to hit about 30 or 40 stores before you can find one selling toothbrushes and that's if you know to look under the cobwebs.
-
That only applies to other teams, when Jones does it...it's genius.
-
I care because I like to read stuff that makes sense.
-
Why would you remove the signing bonus? It counts against the SMS and is part of their pay...just up front.
-
Count me in if the dollars make sense Booch.
-
How much was he paid?

No doubt. We get a massive upgrade over Denmark for relatively the same price tag. This is a big offseason coup for Walters. There was zero doubt we needed to upgrade at receiver. We did so...in a big way...and it won't eat into our SMS room at all. If we don't re-sign Westerman or Heath it sure as heck isn't because we gave Bowman 140k....we were paying that to our 3rd IMP receiver no matter what.

No one wants to see Duron Carter in jail for this....no one wants to see Duron Carter at all. Deport him, rip up his work visa and let him be Arena Football's problem child.
-
Yea....it's a real dilemma. I love the potential of his toxicity to derail things, but I also want Riderfans heads to blow up if he is released/suspended/put in jail.

Marijuana possession of over 30 grams, almost always, is a charge of possession with the intent to traffic. I am wondering if that isn't his specific marijuana charge here in Manitoba. What was he doing here on November 25th you ask? My guess is visiting Jordan Reaves....lmao.

I have to wonder if he does stupid things on purpose just for the attention. Maybe Daddy neglected him.
-
He was an all star last year that played his best games late in the season. Why would there be reason to believe he would suddenly be no good.
-
Gotta be a salary dump. The years of having a contending team in the SMS age are coming home to roost now.
-
Can't. Once R.I.C.E is established they have to release him unless they keep him I.P.D.A. or under the mental health act.
-
The reason is that the league and the union fought tooth and nail last time about the option year window. The league wanted it gone and in order to get the concession they eventually had to shorten minimum contract length to one year. It hurts the collective bargaining process when teams who fought to get rid of the NFL option year window suddenly start randomly giving it back.

Law is different in Canada. If convicted they won't overturn it.

Gaitor has played primarily at HB in the CFL. Also, Gaitor would not have been expensive, as he was cut last year and had a terrible year.
-
No it doesn't. Gaitor likely came cheap after sitting on the scrap heap since last October.
-
That would be awful.
-
Hey, I like CFL experienced guys as much as the next guy but if he is a Heath replacement we have downgraded big time. Gaitor was terrible last year, played himself out of the starting lineup, until the Lions eventually just released him. If he is a Walker or Alexander replacement that's fine, but if our plan is to sign Gaitor to replace Heath I am not happy with that.
