I’d be anxious too if I had to play the Bombers on the road again after that 54-20 massacre.

I’m thinking the D plays much better then we anticipate, there’s going to be some motivated men out there after the Hamilton game, and with the bye im sure there’s going to be some adjustments from Richie Hall, I don’t see a bad performance two weeks in a row.

Calgary is taking care of business so far. Would be nice to have more breathing room so that we can clinch first place.

Id rather be 12-2 then pretty much any other situations it’s the ups and downs of the regular season.

I kind of feel for Evans. Poor guy he’s been dealing with confidence issues and a shoulder injury and it looks like he’s getting back into the line up against Winnipeg. The team that broke him in the first place. There’s going to be a lot of pressure in his face.

I have to say.. Demski, Bailey, and Schoen had some tough yards and tough catches. It’s good to see a receiving core you can rely on through and through.

A side note. Is anyone impressed with Prukop? He reminds me Streveler in a lot of ways. Maybe not quite as good but fast, strong, and decent arm.

In a close game like this, gotta give a star to legs with the gutsy 55 yard field goal, and 49 yard punt on a play that should have been a block.

Good for him! A lot of former Bombers are sticking with their NFL clubs. This is great for recruiting. Not only being two x champions but for the guys with NFL aspirations, come to Winnipeg, ball out, win a lot of games and get your exposure and get an NFL contract. Win win!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Winnipeg was one of them. We needed a receiver at the time and the Minnesota/Manitoba connection would make a lot of sense.

I really love how Oliveria was playing. Tough yards. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry against Calgary but only had a long of 10. That means he was getting 7-8 yards almost every play. Really puts your O in a good spot when you’re dealing with second and short.
