  1. Not much is ever going to change until we get rid of DelMonaco.
  2. Maybe. I would say you are under-valuing Muamba's worth to the rest of the league though. He is a very good player with the chance to develop into an all-star.
  3. If you're referring to Buck, I hope you realize he would have been hospitalized about halfway through the first quarter of that last game... his reads are no quicker than Goltz's. Henoc definitely has value - Linebacker is increasingly an NI position... I would think almost every team in the league would have interest - not for a starting QB straight up but possibly a backup... then again, Calgary and Sask aren't trading any QBs right now, Toronto can't and no one else really has anyone that jumps out T.O. is probably the best market for Henoc if they want to make a grey cup run... but they're not giving up Collaros and not messing with their OL... I'm talking about any experience at the QB position before you move on. Most teams do not need to start a NI at linebacker and despite what you think the trend is, most will not if they have the option. The best the Bombers could hope for is a third stringer QB that nobody has heard of yet, Khari Jones type. Muamba is an upgrade over Pottinger/Yurichuk in T.O., would add solid depth in Montreal and be heir apparent to Emry, Riders just lost Williams and Henoc is better than McCollough... Sherritt is in pretty rough shape in Edmonton There's a market

  5. Not sure that Thomas-Pencer on the right side really hurt us... Yes, Max Hall's quick release really helped but honestly, our OL was just as good if not better in the second half.
  6. Wonder if we got Parenteau because he's glass... Still, I will take a 3rd for Woodson and a 5th... Too bad we didn't go after Kyle Koch as well - who else is out there right now? Can't really think of anyone we can bring in... too bad we cut Brendan Dunn, at lest he knew the system (whatever our system is...) And, what's up with Andre Douglas anyway...???
  7. Lawless also changed the title of his piece once he sobered up this morning... Ham-fisted was pretty good I thought though. And, yes, trading Henoc is a ridiculous idea. Maybe trade neg rights for a good pick in January if its truly apparent that he won't come back... but come on. His writing deserves to be on a bomber forum not in the freep... ha!
  8. I think you need a real game before you can ask for a Game Day thread.
  9. We could blame injuries to the OL... but I actually thought we played better with Thomas and Pencer on the right side, ha.
  10. I'm actually cheering for the Riders in the west... but a Durant meltdown is truly entertaining.
  11. Dwight Anderson punchin' that football like an Ethiopian gangbanger!
  12. Hall is a better QB than Goltz but he's like a washed up Elliott to be honest... still I guess I'll take it right now.
  13. Pull Durant Chamblin! Or call a timeout or something...!
  14. Milo's streak is over... Durant looks like he is unravelling two games in a row.
  15. Now that we aren't comparing him to Buck Pierce's truly awful performances... and we actually compare him to real CFL QBs. Yes, Goltz's shine is gone. Release him.
  16. I was one of those people... Missing half the season was fine actually, but it was more just letting another veteran walk with nothing more than a shrug. Bowman even on the sidelines would have helped this team... and yeah, I would be totally fine with Bowman returning at this point of the season, especially with Parker out and Wild already knicked up. People were not arguing about starting vets no matter what, it was more a matter of letting young guys win the jobs instead of just turfing vets for no real reason. No doubt that Bowman would have helped this team keep its composure this year.
  17. Only Jones and Bryant have started all the games this year...??? Wow, no one can ever use injuries as an excuse again. Wow.
  18. That projection is ridiculous. Agreed.
  19. The only important thing is that neither team had a chance to talk to him before the trade... It was clearly not 'Reilly was never coming here'... Just so so glad that the 'Excuse Era' is over.
  20. http://www.winnipegsun.com/2013/09/14/bombers-had-chance-to-get-reilly-if-not-for-mack Seems like Mack's version may not have been the complete truth. Shocked that Friesen didn't write this, ha
  21. They must be rotating Sewell with DonnyO... no? Haven't really looked at them this year but Sewell was a monster last year
  22. We don't have to worry about bringing Bowman down, he'll drop the ball 80% of the time... problem solved. Rest easy. Good news is that Koch is out.
  23. Difficulty: Tim Burke built this coaching staff that failed so hard. Sometimes, it sure seems like your arguments are more about clearing Mack of any wrong-doing as opposed to the topic at hand. That said, I go out of my way to skewer Sleepy Joe so, hey... And anyway, why is Burke talking about Rottier at all... just get ready for the game already. Are you saying that Burke didn't put this coaching staff together? Yeah lots of them might have first come here through Lapolice, but Burke endorsed them all by keeping them. Burke and Mack did it... Mack seemed to have a lot more influence on football ops than he likely should have... they admitted he influenced the Kent cut, etc Then again, I would say Bellefuile was more of a MIller hire than anything else... who knows. We can totally hang the Creehan hiring on Burke - bad bad move - and I would add our pick of Mulumba was influenced by Creehan... too bad. At least, it seems like we have abandoned Creehan's defensive philosophy and Burke is back in control.
  24. http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/wpg/pdf/depth/2013/DepthWinnipegatEdmonton_Sept14_2013_FINAL090541.pdf Whats going on with Stephan? Have we given up on him - looks like he is on PR now... Still depressing to see Labbe and Green as our Cdn depth at LB Would have been nice to see SimsWalker play... getting a little uneasy with all these Cdn receivers - we seem loaded with 'decent' receivers Kind of hoping we shift Markett over to corner at some point and spell off JJ or BStew... Markett's speed seems better suited for CB MSW, CK, Gilmore and Foster on 46? Or Fitzgerald?
