Grant has to be the best ever. Stokes was good but as each generation is better than the last, I'm not sure anyone has been as good as Grant.

Lawrence was awful for us.  Darby was terrible last season.  It's not that hard to see when a guy has 200 yards of passing go right through him in a game.
I have no qualms with our current staff and their ability to evaluate DB's.
The only guys I think they were too soft on were Rose and Alexander.  They both haven't been good players at all since the 21 Grey Cup.  Not sure why Alexander was brought back.

Roster decisions at every player position are also governed by available dollars. Bombers have spent over the cap and been fined for that for several consecutive seasons. You allocate $xxxxxx.xx for each position, plus $$$ for so-called back-ups. Then factor injuries. This is why Bombers are so keen on players being able to fill multiple positions, esp on D. It is a balancing act. A guy who can play multiple roles is actually more valuable to the club than an ace who fits/excels in just one role. Roster composition is not just based on fans perceptions of which player looks promising at a given position, it's a bigger picture.

Small sample but Wilson looking better. Couple of nice throws. Looking more relaxed and confident - in command. Like him.

Wow he was still eating chicken nuggies and wearing pull ups back then lol. He’s worth giving time on the pr and bringing back to camp next year.
Gotta say, the front 6 will only be a problem if we cut all the wrong guys. Soo much talent damn Walter’s Mac and co have out down them self.
    Ayer’s lookin good too

Ya, he got up clean after the catch and then had the ball stripped. Shouldve been Bombers ball.

I think Garbutt is better...but can't go wrong with either and both on the roster would be killer...FOx...Cole...Moses...fast...tough..motors to burn and elite sideline to sideline coverage

Not sure that baker catch wasn’t a fumble after considering he got back up and attempted to run.

Mike O'Shea said that pound-for-pound Janarion Grant was undoubtedly the toughest player on the squad. Of course no one is irreplaceable. But guaranteed whoever is returning kicks this season will not be in Grant's class. I feel bad for him because the ankle/foot injury that cost him was a really dumb play call - a handoff that had him running a counter up the gut into heavy traffic.

Big thanks to all our resident experts who provided great insight this evening for the rest of us dummies and to Jay for keeping everyone updated once the draft went online only. It's greatly appreciated!

Yup...it's gonna be interesting if we see a lot of 2 QB sets...or a lot of ZC and Strev rotation...I think it'sthe multiple dual QB looks.....and from looking at what that Thompson brings, can you imagine a set with both ZC and Strev, as well as Thompson with motion in the backfield....or in a bunch set....what are your keys defensively there?...and oh yeah....you have BO lurking there too....All I can see right now is if you are not up on the Bombers...and by a lot in 2nd half/4th quarter....you are gonna be ground out to a fine dust
