Lyles missed one year for the Bisons because he was academically ineligible, I’m not sure how that equates to “can barely stay on a team for a full season”.

My only complaint is that we haven’t gone back to the two back set all year. It was very effective and efficient last year, and would be a huge boon to our O come playoff time...

Hamilton also thrashed us once and played us close another time. Honestly, all teams aside from Calgary appear to be on the same tier.

I’m still bitter about this. I don’t know why we weren’t interested.

What looms large for us is losing at home opening night against the Esks, the terrible choke job in BC, and the Banjo Bowl pick six disaster. If we had won even one of those three, we’re sitting pretty right now.

It’s hilarious that Strevler has more touchdown passes than Collaros this year.

Having Adam Bighill on this team just can’t be understated. His presence allows us to do so many more different things scheme wise compared to the turnstile known as Sam Hurl.

I’m not sure if he was available, but Amarnati Edwards would’ve looked great on this team. Better yet, we should’ve just signed Chris Matthews.

Here’s the tricky thing about stats, his 2017 numbers are arguably better but the eye test will tell you that he played much better in 2016. The majority of those 2017 numbers were racked up after Edmonton already beat us to the curb. Of course, we had a pathetic plethora of receivers out there.

Get Edwards or Green from the Argos.

I would love to see Jennings starting for the Riders.

I love the honesty and he’s not wrong. Jennings needs to significantly improve his play if he wants to be anything more than a backup next year.

This is exactly the move we’ve needed to make, yet failed to make time and time again.

Is it really the hot hand if Woli has been one of our most consistent receivers?

I honestly believe that a receiving core consisting of Wolitarsky, Demski, Peterman, Simonise and one of our imports would actually be quite good.

Man, I’m thrilled we won and our d dominated, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen such poor play from the O when the team plays so well. Nichols and the O were not sharp... again

The Harris injury scare still wasn’t enough to get Flanders on the roster. Still, I’m just happy that our guys are all healthy.

This was bound to happen. The pay method was unsustainable.

Darvin adams flat out dropped that deep ball. The throw by Nichols was fine.

I was hoping we would come out with Flanders still on the active roster and ready to run the ball into the cold weather. Instead, we’ll bank on a Dressler single handily fixing our O.

Why? Our national receivers are probably the second and third best recievers we have until Dressler comes back. Elliot & especially Lankford suck.

Blowing that game in BC is going to end up haunting this team.
