The funniest part was the chants of "Captain Wheeler!" After 26 was introduced. Team may have not decided on the captaincy but the fanbase has spoken.

Well...that was a game. Who is this Blue team? I don't know, but I sure as hell like it. All 3 phases clicking, guys are very visibly motivated and engaged right now - fun to see a team playing with passion again. And of course executing the gameplan. I managed to stick it out as well. Left the stadium at 1 and had a walk to StV park, then got dropped off at my vehicle. Home at 2am, I was supposed to be in at 8 this morning, but woke up at 7:52. Oops. Well. Worth. It. Big props to the others who stuck it out too. 17K is a pretty damn impressive number for how long it was delayed. Backs up what I've always thought about Bomber fans. We may not always have the biggest numbers, but I'll take Bomber diehards over any other teams every day of the week, and twice on gameday.

Strictly from personal experience, this is the only negative trend I see of late here. I'd like to think I'm not a confrontational type on here; but when I have been it's been because people have responded to a post of mine and completely misrepresented the words I typed. This seems to happen frequently to others who post more, and seems to be the root of all these little spats. NOT a shot at anyone personally - but if you've got an issue with a poster, why not a) ignore b ) bring up with mods or c) avoid conversations with them? A few posters on here come to mind; guys who's football opinions I really respect. We get into a "debate" on the general thread and for a second I hate these guys! Then I ask myself, what am I here for? To have a great place to discuss football and the Jets - or to make friends and agree with everyone? Once I cool down and remind myself of that, it becomes a much more enjoyable place. Life's too short to have internet confrontations with faceless people online - in my opinion. Enjoy the weekend, folks.

As yesterday was the anniversary of Stegall breaking the TD record, and I was rewatching the video - it occurred to me that moment is literally the best thing I've witnessed in person as a Bomber fan. So depressing to think that 20+ years of fandom, and we've been given a few playoff wins at home and that's about it. Man, thank Jeebus for Milton Stegall.

This. Maybe not within this group, but I think the casual fan probably can't even list the years we went to the Cup; let alone how and why we lost them. If this team had one of those GC wins, I def think the problems now would be less magnified. That said, it is happening. And the fact it's all coincided with opening a brand new stadium... well that's just the definition of depressing.

Because they've played a little internationally together? That seems like a pretty big reach, as a primary reason to want the kid. Don't get me wrong, seems uber-talented. But we've got an abundance of talented, young FW's - at every level too.
