Why did Luke have to train Ben IF Luke trained Leia 🤔

Leia thought sending him to Luke's Academy would help him to be shielded from Snoke.  In the movie it stated she had a force vision, during training, of him going to the dark side.  It's also explained in one of the books that they new about Snoke a long time ago and how he was trying to sway Ben.  She figured that sending him to Luke he'd be protected.

Plus, have you ever tried getting taught something by your mom?  My mom was a piano teacher and I would never want to listen to her lessons.  When someone else taught me I did great.

Then Obi-wan would have to force-chop the tree down then sit on it.

I don't understand what you're trying to say.  When he sat down on the tree in Return of the Jedi, it was already down.

And i'm sure Chewie would be just waiting to hug Kylo at the wedding.

You mean the kid that he probably helped to raise and probably missed the kill shot on purpose when Kylo killed Han?

  3. Obi-Wan was able to site on a tree stump.  So why wouldn't Luke be able to catch a lightsaber?

Finn just wanted to tell Rey he had the force.

I didn't mind the kiss.  I was kind of expecting it.  Didn't find it creepy at all considering the connection the two had.

I didn't find the movie dragged at all.  Felt it went by fairly quickly.  Enjoyed it all except for the force teleportation of objects, but that's just a minor grudge.

JJ had a lot of damage to fix and he did it well.  I really enjoyed it.  I want to see what happens with Rey now though...maybe they'll continue her adventures in the future?  I hope so.

I think the non spoiler revenues I read are pretty spot on.

it’s fast paced and doesn’t have much time to let things breath.  There is fan servicing but in my opinion, needed.   I feel like the film is a salvage project and makes TLJ look even worse in comparison.

all the characters shine at points.  Fight scenes are cool.   They do answer a lot of questions though often without much explanation (and seems like lack of time was a factor).

there are many plot contrivances.  Ie when they need a ship there is a ship. When they need help there is someone to do it.  But while that usually drives me nuts I kinda give JJ some slack because this is basically two films in one.  It’s fixing TLJ.

Actors were all good.  Driver and Ridley especially.  And ofcourse Ian Mc.   There was genuinely some big emotional moments and some “yes so cool” moments.   A few things I’d change. But I’d go see it. If you liked TFA and hated TLJ go see it.  If you hated TFA you probably won’t like this one.

I haven't seen it yet so I can't comment on it.  But it's too bad JJ can't give us a directors cut.  But Star Wars never seems to do that.

  5. TLJ isn't Star Wars.  It didn't feel Star Wars, it was stupid in so many ways, and it didn't progress anyone's character.  The only real thing that Rian did in TLJ was kill Luke.  The rest of the movie felt like a filler episode.  You know when TV shows have filler episodes that mean nothing.  That's what TLJ was to me.  It meant nothing, it progressed nothing, and can be thrown away.  You want to watch it and enjoy it, go ahead, but as far as I'm concerned, it didn't happen, and Luke died of natural causes.

It's funny, because Rian touts himself as a Star Wars fanboy, he's apparently read all the Legends novels, he loves the movies, and then he came along and destroyed a series in one fell swoop.

Yes, I don't dislike the approach. But, kids handling this type equipment, car starting 30 years after going into storage... I just feel like it's going to be messy.

Yeah, wasn't it hard enough for the adults to handle the equipment, never mind young skinny teenagers?  They always looked like it was a difficult thing to hold when they used them never mind the weight of the actual equipment.  And I'm not even touching on what you're talking about in regards to letting young kids handle...basically nuclear weaponized backpacks.

There's more than just the one hat and shirt on the bomber store website now.  Some nicer looking royal blue shirts/hats listed now.

    Ooooo sweet.

I got the grey hat and shirt just today.  Looks nice.  My wife got all mad "what am I supposed to buy you for Christmas now?!!?  STOP BUYING STUFF".  I'm like "it's ok, there's more stuff there now that you can buy me".

Personally, I would be quite happy if the Bombers signed ZC ASAP and sent Toronto the draft pick.     A first round draft pick has some value, but a Grey Cup winning QB is well worth it.

(Not saying I think it will happen, just that it would make me happy.)    Remember, he signed in Saskatchewan even though his wife had ties to Ontario, so I wouldn't rule it out.

Same.  Nothing against Matt, but I loved watching Zach throw.  He scrambles better and has a slightly stronger arm.

I've heard twice since he came back...but don't quote me as 100 percent on that

And not to open an old can of worms but the apparent roid is old school bulking agent..used only in off-season and does nothing for a skilled position guy..totally takes your aerobic capacity away..oh well...like he said haters gonna hate

I've studied a lot on steroids over the years, and you are right.  It wouldn't make sense for him to take dbol if he's looking for power and speed.  Dbol is for bulk and strength, not speed and power.  There are better steroids out there to take then that if he's using it to increase his runs.  I also don't think he was on dbol because you would have been able to tell in his face if he's taking it.  I've seen guys on and off dbol and Harris would have been bloated from water weight if he'd have been on it.  You would have seen a change in his face.  I still think it was a false positive due to what I've seen.

funny enough, apparently a fan had it at a game, and Jefferson just LOVED it, the guy gave it to him and Jefferson just kept it. But now, after the fact, the guy is crying that he wants it back again. I saw a some kinda headline on Twitter about it...

I'm not sure he actually gave it to him or not, but I read Jefferson is going to be giving it back as he just wanted it for the celebrations.
