I want to know when we went from expecting to win to being happy with having "a chance" to win....if all goes right. Right now it seems our attitude is to happy just to be in the game. Not cool. I blame the coaches more than the players. Can hardly stand to listen to Condell's media interviews. He says lots of words, but his replies don't make sense.

I don't think he's thinking about money, he's thinking this approach is best for the team. That's a bigger problem.

No worries. I don't take any of it personally, I'm just here to talk Blue Bomber football with fellow obsessives. I agree, we all have different levels of tolerances. I finally have enough data to overcome my lack of pro-level knowledge. Tonight was SO beyond anything reasonable, it's finally clear to me that the leadership is not hungry anymore. The plan seems to be stay loyal to the guys you like and hope they give you a chance to win.

Nope, I've been reading and following closely for years. Have learned a ton from my 25+ years mostly lurking here and the forum before this one. Many points by posters I've agreed with and thought could be true. I like reading the different opinions. But I'm just an interested fan and felt like I should give the benefit of the doubt to the pros, especially Wade Miller. After this game and MOS's response, I have finally lost my benefit of the doubt. As someone posted earlier, MOS has lost the plot. The coaching staff, and tonight the players, don't seem to mind losing. MOS is probably trying to protect his staff and his locker room publicly. But I still see no signs of willingness to change and adapt. Either in a half, in a game, in a season, or even between seasons. Stubbornness can be a great trait in the right amounts, but beyond a certain point it is counterproductive. Who doesn't know someone who can tough out a challenge in life with stubbornness, but then not go to the doctor when they're super sick and wait too late to make changes. Add to that.... 'just needed to make a few more plays' 'our guys are beyond getting emotional. This won't change how they approach the game' 'nothing happened in that second half to change the game'

For the first time, I agree. O'Shea sounded out of touch, indifferent, and unbothered in his post-game interview. Is he apathetic? Because that kind of response makes anyone, even some diehards, start to not care. He seems happy to have a team that has "a chance" to win, instead of expecting to win. The attitude is so deflating as a fan, I can only imagine how it is for the coaches and players.

That was my first game ever. I was a teenager and hooked as a fan for life!

It's sad for the guy. I agree hes not a great qb, but you have to love his work ethic and heart. Suddenly we're in the same qb situation as last fall. Hopefully Wilson will learn from his mistakes quickly.

At what point does an action like the headbutt so far after the play become a criminal assault? Honest question, I'm not sure how these things work. It was not part of a football play, was very violent and totally unexpected, and could have seriously injured him.

I think I've only seen Darrell Walker catch 1 ball all season. Have watched a few Elks games...

I got a concussion 2.5 years ago from falling on curling ice and am still feeling the effects. I have a whole team of health care people helping me get back to normal, including rehab for vision disturbances. I have to say that it is less fun to watch football now because it really bothers me to see to head hits.

Hey, here's something fun for you to try. Print out a picture of the Bombers helmet and ask 100 Winnipeggers which team's helmet is in the picture. Then, if you have a bit more free time, try doing that at various points elsewhere in Canada. See how many say U of Washington. Get back to us on the results, would you? Sounds like a fun study To clarify, I think the W makes perfect sense on the helmet, but on a hat or shirt, doesn't mean anything to me as there is no context and not enough brand recognition to make the connection.
